I feel like the outlier as I just drink and race and that's only driving in the evenings!
Well, I'd say you're on the edge of "outlier", since I only smoke cigarettes and don't do that at my rig. Haven't had even a sip of anything alcoholic in almost 2 years, since I hosted a 3 week long wake in March of '23. I sincerely can't imagine driving in VR while intoxicated, whatever the chemical used.

Yessir! Vr here too, it’s like learning the buttons without seeing them, muscle memory lol. Or I’ll push the pass through button right quick. I love that auto drive in pause on the straightaway for a few seconds.

Oh yes very familiar with that type of setup, I have a storz and bickel volcano I used to use for flower, giant bag, great flavor. I think they were the first developers. Great idea. Storz bags are literally just turkey bags. It is the only safe plastic to use.

You’re right it hits everyone different. I’m a bit of a degenerate, Its been over 25 years sadly. Extracts started for me only a decade ago and was like triple high for me! I often wish I was still just into flower! I’ve roasted a lot of brain cells!

I’m up in New England. It’s legal in my state, but rec market is a joke up here. Horrible horrible quality, overtaxed. I’ve never been to one, not worth it here. Craft farmers and washers up in Maine are killing it! Like crushing it! So funny when I was a kid in middle school whatever we got was awesome. Nowadays you have endless selections all the time. Kids these days have no idea how well they have it.
Yup had volcano’s for years. Began maybe 20yrs ago with the mouthpiece which was reminiscent of a lawn dart. Man that sucker could fly. I’ve got the digital now but around this time last year someone showed us the arizer and the glass on glass can't be beat. Now with my volcano all i can taste is a metal, plastic-y flavor, on top of everything. Its like eating caviar with a kitchen spoon. The Arizer is glass on glass, so very cleanable and conductive. Best flavor and thc extraction yet. Bit flimsy and cumbersome, but so far it feels worth the effort.

As far as flower goes. It just takes a few weeks for the tolerance to fade. Edibles reset the clock though. We save the decarb’d stuff and make butter. 2 chocolate chip cookies will set me back for a week. They’re my hard alcohol, as it were. Deep down i think edibles and extracts become an endless loop where you stop really getting wasted, but your not sober either. Its like the weed version of chasing the dragon. Thats just me though. My wife loves the cookies and always has a bag of frozen dough balls waiting.
I'm more a beer and wine man myself but ya know whatever floats ya boat and all that....

What I would suggest is not getting drunk/high and then doing VR in the GR3 Beetle....that's some trippy trippy stuff, even sober..
Those are the best ones maaaannnnn.. 🤤

But seriously, the mclaren vgt, daytona nights. 😎

For VR it’s fantastic. And yes it’s so different for everyone. Prob my last few post on this because it’s related to VR😂 For us it’s not like opening a can of beer or just smoking quick to get high. I’m into the unique artistic aspects of consumption. In the early 2000’s I started to find these artist in the PNW and bring back glass with me. Things people had not seen before. Artist who just wanted to make art back then. These artist had no money back then and lived in communal home, garage studios, and campers. Now they have million dollar homes and massive studios. Like anything you’re passionate about it becomes a lifelong interest. For us it’s a time to chill, appreciate fine art and things……… and to escape into the moment.

I don't care that much as I'd be classed as piss head.

Each to their own
