GT7 SVG request thread.

Don't wanna destroy your hopes but this will need to be redrawn by hand entirely which would probably take even a skilled SVG maker at least a full day of work. And it'll end up getting split up in probably around 10 parts considering its complexity.

EDIT: Turns out at least the flag is available on wikipedia as an SVG, so it'd only need to be split up into pieces. Lucky you I guess

I have no idea how to do this. I'm an ogre in computing. 😔

the holes in the letters are supposed to be see through, but they are white.
And i cannot remember how to do that.

The inner parts of the letter's weren't transparent but painted white. I undid them being a combined path, made them color-less and re-combined them with the letters.

First, the TM Performance logo. Second, the Sudpack logo, but curved as if to go around a wheel arch as shown in this picture.

Finally, the DTM numbers. I only really need 3 and 7, but if someone wants to make all 0-9, that would be even better.

I can't bend text with my ipad software and I didn't charge my old laptop for a while. Anyway, by using camera angle, you should be able to emulate it.

I can't bend text with my ipad software and I didn't charge my old laptop for a while. Anyway, by using camera angle, you should be able to emulate it.

Thanks mate! Just curious, what software do you use for this on the iPad? I'm guessing more complex logos like the TM Performance one aren't possible on there?

Affinity Designer. Yes it's possible, it just takes more time, I couldn't identify the font, so everything needs to be handtraced. Sometimes I'm motivated. Sometimes, I'm not 🤷🏻‍♂️

I can't speak for every other people making decals. And so can't they. I'm not going to say everytime there's a request "I won't do this one". When you don't get an answer for a decal, it won't be made.
I'm quoting you here, but it's not against you, there are several users who did the same, and I'm not great with multiquoting, so I keep it simple...
Just mike it's said in the OP:
"Some logos may just not get done. Repeatedly asking will not help."

I'm juggling a few things at the moment so I'm only likely to catch up decal requests around the weekend at the moment.

Regarding the request. That type of logo, that has an area that has a 'texture' to it, would be very difficult to reproduce at a sensible size - a simplified version would be possible, but it requires a bit more creative input from whoever is drawing it, and thus more time and effort.

As with Krisduv, I generally don't just say "no" to something, or say that it can't be done, because with enough time and effort, most things can be done - though, I have busted my ass before making a set of decals only to be complained at because it required multiple decals to be put together on the car - someone may take it on, they may not. I personally don't have a problem with people re-requesting stuff after a couple of weeks because it might simply have been missed.

I'm not really good at making these work in a editor.... I'll prolly have to take a class at the community college to learn all the lingo and stuff. But... if someone could get these in a format that can be transfered to GT7 I'll gladly used to space to Share them/Give credit to the editor. They would go a long way to cleaning up some transferred and new designs. Thanks! (Quite the legendary community!)
