i can't seem to get it right.

It was so bad that i didn't save it.

Already ran it through whatsmyfont, but to no avail.

I also looked for a better picture of Ge-Ka but couldn't find one.

The font seems to be Pagnol, but with a minor tweak to the G.
I can upload the full logo later tonight if no one is able to work something out before.

Just to be open about, I'm leaning out of doing the simple text based logo requests. I've got like 6200 fonts on my system, so I know I've probably got the right fonts (or close enough) to make them, but it takes so long to find them I could literally hand trace the whole thing in the same time. So I end up using an online font finder, and because most fonts online are now just copies with different names, I end up installing a bunch of new fonts everytime.

If anyone knows of a font finder that works with fonts on your own system, that would be a life saver.

Hi all, can someone help me? I tried to convert the IRESA logos but with no success
20080607-SC031-Iresa - Logo.jpg

logo.jpg

The top logo is the oldest one, from the 70s and 80s. At the bottom their current logo. IRESA is a Spanish company famous for their rollcages, exhaust manifolds and exhaust mufflers. In the late 70s they built a six group 7 cars for hillclimbing (Torralba-Iresa, most using SEAT engines but one had a Holbay-Formula Ford engine and other got a Lancia engine) In the early 80s they released a turbo kit (based on a Garrett or IHI turbine) for the Mk I Golf GTi, like theone developed by Schrick and Turbo Technics.
My plan was to create a livery depicting this GTi Turbo.

Thank you in advance!

I'm after some help.

Really want the attached image but I'm having real difficulty in getting the image small enough for GT7. I have tried SVGOMG but to be honest I don't really get it so any help would be appreciated. Not too bothered on colour of the print if choosing a different colour helps to shrink the file size (you can tell I have no idea what I'm doing) but needs to have a transparent background.

I will attach both the PNG & SVG files.

Thanks in advance

I wonder if someone would be kind enough to convert this one for me. Ideally I'd like one with the text in black and one with it in white. I realise the grading in the elephant's ears might cause an issue so it's ok if the "fill" ends up solid white.

Thanks in advance!

Here you go.
AOV4360.png

Duplicate the logo and change it to text, so its placed in the right spot. You can change the text decal to any color you like.

Please let me know if the gradient in the ears is working in GT7, might give some issues, havent tested it in GT7

Thank you, don't worry, the current one is OK. I give today another try and was able to create the old one without the pyramid logo. Thank you for your work!

Hi there, I have two questions or it's more one question and one call for help:
1. Question: I converted a logo with some letters in it. Even though it looks correct in every step on my laptop, when loaded in game, the letter A and P are all filled inside, what should not be the case. Any hints how to change that?
2. Is there still any license plate support somewhere in the net? I was looking for some but currently everything seems to be down. Could anybody help or with creating a German license plate (MA FI 82)?
As I'm struggling with getting this done currently (see above at 1)

Thx

Most likely you need to 'reverse' the path/curve of the bit that should be empty (this isn't always the case depending on how you generated the image, but it's most common).

This isn't difficult if all you want is the text. Again, it depends on how you're attempting to generate the images.

What software are you using?

1° Did you convert all letters to Path?
2° There's enough letters and decals to make a custom plate already available in GT7

So... I've replied to you in your thread. I've redrawn this file only using the principles I've mentioned.

The upshot is, because this pattern has to repeat every two impressions down or across it's difficult to opitimse... in other words, I could have had more impressions on it, but then it wouldn't tile... so this is as many as I could do.

SVG attached.

FWIW, the benefit of hand tracing, rather than auto tracing are shown below. The top image is the one I drew using the simple tools I mentioned in my other post, the bottom one was the file you provided. You file has 156 nodes (the blue squares), mine has 65.. so for a given number of impressions, my file is at least 42% of the size of yours.

Hi all,

After advice given on previous posts I have tried to input that into other decals I have made. I am getting better, however I struggle when it comes to curves. Could someone please help me with this one?

Can I also ask for a high quality version not factoring in the 15kb limit? A friend of mine is going to laser cut it for me. I know it's not related to GT, but I'd like a GT friendly version too. My version is terrible

I have another, more complex image attached, if anyone would like to add to their repertoire

Thank you once again, all

I got the skull decal done for you, I made a few minor alterations for aesthetic purposes, but is essentially the same

Requesting the Blue+ (From GT Sport/GT7, trackside), Hudsen Tech and HCM Corporation logos (From NFS Hot Pursuit 2010/Remastered). I'm not too sure if these are possible though.

Absolutely amazing stuff thank you!

I'll see if it will work with my mates laser cutter. He's going to be making an MDF one 1m^2 roughly for me.

Thank you again

Hi there.

I've spent too much time trying to get my head around creating the SVG files, still struggling.
Whilst I try and get a better grip on this, would it be possible for someone to convert this for me?

Many thanks,
Lee.
