Hey all, not sure if I had to tag someone in this GT7 thread as in the past I'd used the GT Sport one.

Anyway, trying to get my cars updated with my new logo. Would really appreciate if someone can get these two done for me.

I know you all do this in your spare time and you've done some great work on other images I've requested, so thank you to anyone who can help me with this.

So I was going back through old posts, looking for something to do, and I saw that the Krefeld logo someone* had done for you had been split into two layers and my stupid brain was like "well thats just a direct challenge to your vector/SVG skills!" (that and the fact I think its a pretty awesome logo and its the same colours as my football (soccer) team!)

So here is my version using just one layer... with 4kb to spare

*No disrespect to that guy intended, everybody's help is appreciated and I'm sure he did his best for you, as we all try to do.

There is a slight difference between the basic image that was created very quickly, and your very detailed image complete with gradients, but aside from that...

No one has made my logo. Help!

Making an SVG from a bitmap (JPG, PNG etc) is not just as simple as JPG > Save as > SVG. This does not work. Many programs will allow you to that, but all it does is put the JPG inside the SVG file. This will result in a file that is too large, and will be blank in GT anyway.

Also bear in mind how SVGs work and try to not ask for detailed photos/anime etc, as these probably won't get done as they take too much time to "convert" and some images are just impossible to do due to the 15kb size limit. You may be lucky at get someone who is willing to put in the time (many hours in some cases) and end up with an SVG that is split into more than one file.

Some logos may just not get done. Repeatedly asking will not help.

I don’t think your request was overlooked, I think it is probably above the skill for some or not being willing to commit the time that will be needed for others. For complicated decals you may need to be patient to see if someone wants to take on a more difficult request, or accept it may never happen. There are requests of mine that never get filled.

Yeah, fair enough.

I know people do this in their spare time and they have their own lives to be getting on with.

Didn't mean to seem pushy, just saw others post and get theirs done quicker which is why I thought it might have got overlooked. I can be patient of course.

No worries, I thought mine would be difficult because of the gradients.

I am not doubting it is difficult, that's why I can't do it lol, I'm useless with things like this.

Hello.
I wanted to request a very specific kind of svg that involves a line art that consists on the image I'm posting in this reply. It has three colors (pink, lilac and purple) and a small transparent gap between them.
I've been trying to make it myself but I keep messing some of the paths as I'm too unexperienced with how Illustrator works at times.

Use the lines for the "Trompa" version, and make it in separate svg bits with the cuts showcased in the same reference image, that way I can use it more comfortably in the editor.

I have been struggling to find an idea for the new LEC, but I have an idea forming. I was trying to make some slot car track bits this morning, but I can’t seem to get Vectornator to keep my dashed lines in scale with the track. Can someone with a better app and skills turn this into vectors I can use? No need to make individual files at 15kb, I can separate them into new sheets if it is easier.

It's a cool idea, ideally the metal rails are left transparent and everything else is masking off a chrome base paint So you have the metal rails shine through

Would it be better to not include the track connection protrusions as the peices won't be able to butt up against each other properly (if thats the intention)

The one tried to make I took the tabs off, I will be using them “connected”. Planning on using them for numbers, and for the color block below the Carrera script on the rocker.

Drawing a full track on the car with it would also be pretty cool I reckon.

On the roof is the plan for a track. I’m not sure what I will do for a number yet, I want to play around with it. My plan is to wing it😂
