My name is Sleazy and I have an addiction, its ruining my life and my health, I haven't been out of the chair for two months. My addiction is GT. But I don't care because I am doing what I love. And in the evening while the cars tick themselves cool I put some dross on the tv and go to gtplanet to talk to some people who share my addiction. What can be wrong with this?

Well thanks to GT7 I got back into Horizon Forbidden West for now....

I do love custom endurance races with dynamic weather. I've done many 3h ones, a couple 4h ones, 8H and a 12H one. Driving the Sauber C9 for 12 hours was pure bliss. x2 time, tire, fuel to make it a full 24h experience. Unfortunately 2 of the rain states never dropped any rain but the other 3 did which make it all the more interesting. Heavy damage enabled kept me on my toes (too bad the AI doesn't care and crippled my car a few times) and the lighting at sunset, sunrise, and passing cars at night is amazing. The moon shining through the clouds is very nicely done as well.

But that's on hold for a while until the 962C shows up and the 917K comes back around. Got to wait and grind before fun... Hopefully PD will add saving custom race settings and custom race grids. Good thing is, I have lots of ideas left for endurance races I want to do. For now, damn Horizon FW looks absolutely

Gt7 is one of the best driving games I’ve ever played. For controller + chase cam, it’s in my top three favorites with Dirt Rally 2.0 and Project Cars 2. I prefer challenging physics. The one thing left on my want list is the Seattle Circuit.

I like the way is portrays electric cars are nothing but hunks of junk
the Porsche electric golf cart has no range and no top speed
petrol heads rejoice

I just wanted to say this. Most other games, the menus are just something you need to get through in order to get to the main event.

Gran Turismo on the other hand, you want to be in the menus. GT7 on many occasions has had me stopping for minutes at a time just to take in the presentation. The beautifully rendered cars and music, the atmosphere of everything. Say what you will about any other part of the game but the presentation is top notch as always. Honesty this probably artificially inflated my playtime by quite a bit. Just staring at the menus all the time.

This game has a lot of "best of" in the franchise.

Weather simulation is very advanced and surpassed F1 series. Car models excellent as always. Not much customization, but even default customization is tasteful and some cars like Viper '13 or 911 Turbo '81 look amazing when fully customized. Returning tracks maybe not 1:1 copies of originals, but layouts are impressive and fun. New endurance races are very fun and Le Mans is varied with random rain.

Career is not as extensive and car list needs some more stuff. But that's not enough for hate.

i love a lot about the game actually... first and foremost the graphics are amazing... i like the sounds of the cars and the control of the cars as well... the change of weather and damage on the cars is cool too...i like the car selection as well... it brings back memories with some of the cars...i liked how a lot the races dont have PP limit and you can use any car....i like the customization... its pretty dope how you can pick another users content and loading their car which is easy to do...

Just yesterday I stumbled upon this forum and the daily race discussions.
I learned a lot about specific tracks, cars and skills I need to develop. I'm DR:C/SR:S at the moment. It was very helpful and enlightening.

Then I casually looked at the other topics and... wow. I did not expect people to be so rude, impudent, crinch and outright embarrassing. But this self-indulgent spiral of negativity is a broader phenomenon of the internet I guess.

So... I absolutely love this game. Not one day since launch has passed without me having fun in this game. I never grinded once, I only play for fun. I have almost all the cars I want and still have several millions credits to spend. (In my opinion GT7 is to generous, but that's a different story.)

I love the fact that I can spend dozens and dozens of hours with this game, without even driving one mile. There is so much to do and enjoy. Especially the livery editor, the showcase feature and the scapes feature are fantastic. I just love the way cars and culture are handled in this game.

The graphics are plain beautiful, the presentation is top notch, the background music perfectly suited. I like the handling/physics of the cars compared to other games I played (Project Cars, Asetto). GT7 gives me a certain sense of handling a real object with actual weight on track which kinda lacks in other racers (at least for me).

Not everything is perfect sure, but I'm more then willing to take the ride into a promising future with this game. Since the old days of GT1/2 I haven't been hooked by a racing game on this level.

a another thing that I loved in this game is the way the weather is managed, with on tracks like Le Mans, spa or nurb, you can have different area on the tracks with huge rain and some dry zones, it add so much realism, F1 sequel was the best IMO, GT7 go far beyond that

A another nice détail is the flag regulation, even on the menu carrer you have the flags working and flashing depending what's going on

finally the AI, and it's subjective, but since day one, I find them to be more clever and challenging, I think something have changed, they are no longer dumb as day one, maybe SOPHY is coming ?

It's cool that they added the Cappuccino, literally the best thing about 1.13.

Hoping for AZ-1 in the future, along with maybe some other keis, e.g. Alto Works.
