GTA IV Cars and their real life counterparts

The Uranus is an 80s mustang. I just saw one today and then the first car I found in the game was a Uranus. Perfect match.

In the list - The Schafter isn't a C-class I don't think, it's more like an S-class. If you go online in the Tw@ internet cafes there's a car dealer ad and it says the car is a V12, so definitely seems more of an S-class.

i still think its a saab 9000... but it might be two door, and the saab is a four door now that i think of it.

one thing I've noticed is that taxis and police cars both have impala and crown victoria versions.

I don't know where Mustang came from I would say the Stallion looks more like an old Monte Carlo

I always thought the Chavos was a little bit like a Skyline...or am I thinking of something else? The front has angel eyes if I remember correctly, but the back looks like nothing else.

I put Cosworth in parentheses since there is also the regular version under the same name.

edit: The Sabre GT looks like a 1969-72 Oldsmobile 442

Stratum - Front half, all the way to the end of the rear doors is a Nissan Skyline R32, they put some random wagon rear end on it though.....

Think you missed this when updating the list.... its definitely an R32 Skyline with a wagon rear end

The Stagea didn't have any visual similarities with the R33 GT-R of the time though.

The NRG 900 is based on a Ducati 999R is it not? Same front.

Can you put photos of all the cars in the first post, Danachronism? I'm sure we can all supply some pics taken ourselves.

I don't know whether I'm stating the obvious here, but... is the Landstalker not the Toyota Landcruiser Amazon (Or Lexus LX in the States)?

I'm sure it looked similar when I stole one a while back, and the name is a bit of a dead giveaway... It's name on the full list hasn't been filled in so I'm assuming nobody else has got it yet.

The buccaneer is a '72 Monte Carlo, too. The Sabre must be a cutlass or something... I'll let you know when I come across one.

edit: Yes, the Sabre and Sabre GT is an Oldsmobile Cutlass. I mean, come on... Cutlass:Sabre. The Sabre is an 80s one and the GT is the 70s version. The Buccaneer is definitely the Monte Carlo
