Posted September 25 - latest, not recent. Spuds called me on the 32 meter jump I posted from my end game stats, but I couldn't be sure it wasn't a glitch so I kept looking for something that could match or better the score.

I don't think I'll be making any more LCS videos anytime soon. However, GTA_Loco almost has me convinced to make an FBI Cruiser Vigilante speed run video. Besides, I'm running out of audio.

I'm currently working on (flood control and) a 4 Star Survival Guide for San Andreas. The topic is supposed to support the Master Save File Guide (Ultimate Beginning Save) at GameFAQs, but deals more with survival strategies and access routes than the nitty gritty of all the side missions that are basically the same as a regular game. For instance, BMX, Stadium Events, and Tags won't be much different, but NRG, (restricted) Courier Assets, and Snapshots (all 50 in 1 save) will be a lot more challenging. I'm made a few new videos showing ways to access and escape SF and LV territories, and vehicle runs in each area which are intended as a practice challenges so when something goes wrong (with 4 permanent stars, eventually something will), the player already has a plan for where to find a vehicle that can keep CJ alive.

Anyway, back on topic. I guess I owe Phreak a secret anyway, and no one asked why my 1st laps are so fast, so maybe this will count. My height jump is in the landing area of the Jambalaya Jump. In the video you will notice a tall sign post/billboard thing to the right. I saw someone jump from street below up to the top of this sign in a video, and was trying to recreate the stunt. I couldn't figure it out, however, a slightly different angle still provided the 32 meter score I needed to post a legitimate record.

Using the Avenger, start near the Wichita Gardens tunnel entrance and cruise around the corner while building speed towards the wall in the Jambalaya landing zone. Race straight down the sidewalk on the right and lean back just as the bike slams into the wall. Jumps in the upper 20s were fairly common, but I had to stick with it for quite a while to finally get something over 32 meters.

And so we don't drive our host completely nuts, be sure to ask questions about the 4 Star Guide in the new topic, and I'm still monitoring the LCS Thread if you want to talk more about the insane height jump.

I got around 30-40 :29s before getting this, and i can safely say im maxed, with about 5 heartbreakers, where 28 would just roll over, or the last thing i saw was 28, but still got a 29.
27 should be possible, but im not the person to get it. Never playing this level ever again.
Btw, it's taped, so yes there will be a vid for it.

You guys really need to get 40 on Scrapyard Challenge, it's not that hard, your makeing me look good by not getting it, and its very simple. Get off your butts.

I was just trying to get 13, when i had a sweet run, i died with 19 seconds left. I'm sure this will be beaten by someone, sure took long enough though.

Orion or anybody that knows, for the levels where you shoting on the back of a bike, is there anything that might affect how much health you have, or damage you take, damage with your gun? Just makeing sure i shouldn't be doing this on 100% file game or something lame i overlooked.

This run started off pretty bad, but ended awesome, i got 4 kills in the last 28 seconds, even had 3 secs to try for a 14th kill. This was alot easyer then 9mm, but the driver for this tends to drive worse. So it evens out, plus 30 seconds less time. 🤬

Orion or anybody that knows, for the levels where you shoting on the back of a bike, is there anything that might affect how much health you have, or damage you take, damage with your gun? Just makeing sure i shouldn't be doing this on 100% file game or something lame i overlooked.

I was wondering the same thing. In particular, does the double damage from 100% help the health of the mission vehicle. I would think so, but never tested the idea directly. I don't think any bonus that is a normal part of the game, including a double damage bonus, should be excluded from the record book. I can't think of anything else that would be a factor.

I do not consider it cheating to get a running start in the first lap of a race by clipping or shooting another car. The cars and race are programmed to react in this manner; it's not a glitch; it's a normal part of the game. However, I don't think it would be fair to push the lead car into the first marker to shorten the first lap. The drawback to this strategy is handling the initial impact during the instant start of the opposition, and heavy traffic during the first part of the race because there wasn't a cut-scene to clean up the garbage. I do not consider it cheating to start a race to trigger light traffic and work on jump stats that are difficult because of all the damn cars in the way.

I've only used the CheatDevice for taking screenshots but I'm not able to use the CheatDevice to take screenshots in the pause menu though, I'm only able to use it in gameplay. But now I can't use the CheatDevice anymore cause I had to upgrade my PSP. =(

I haven't figured out the formula for for how Insane Jumps are scored for cash. It's a combination of distance, height, flips, and rotation, with a bonus for the perfect landing. Phreak's jump scores almost twice the distance and rotation, but I've got over triple his height, and the final value is fairly even. With more data we might be able to figure it out. I have noticed that height doesn't seem to be a factor for scoring the initial insane jump. Any amount of height without the minumum number for distance, flips, or rotation, will not score an insane jump.

Besides, if it was possible to score a perfect quadruple insane jump, that would have been it. And it's pretty dang hard to get the perfect landing up against the side of a cliff. I've had quite a few perfect triples before, but I've been holding off posting until I finally scored something with a higher value than the jump posted by Phreak.

Could you please remove my Blue Hell score posted for Best Insane Jump So Far. It no longer serve a purpose.

I think what Orion is asking is to rank the perfect triples by $, - so Orion would be p1. with $648 and I p2. with $592.
That's cool with me (although I'd claim that my stunt was waaaayyyy more insane ), - however that requires ss of the brief screen and isn't quite fair to Loco.
