GTA Online: General Grinding Thread

I run my 6x Coveted playlist all the time. I start it up in a Closed Crew Session so I can avoid randoms but my crew & friends can join if they like. I can beat it myself no problem & on hard I earn 18k per mission, about 110k for all 6. It goes faster with more people & I invite the crew a lot. If someone joins cool, if not no worries.

Offtopic: I wonder where the name "Rooftop Rumble" even comes from considering there are no rooftops involved in the whole mission?

I have a really weird hunch that the names for High Priority Case and Rooftop Rumble were switched some time during production for whatever reason...

Also, now that I'm lv75+, I'd like to apply.

Is anyone grinding RR at the moment? I'd like to get to level 120 before the double-up ends today at midnight EST. :boggled:

I'm taking a quick break to get my GT6 login bonus and some food before I get back to grind to lv90. I'll definitely be back on and grinding within the hour, add me and I'll invite you when I get back on.

If anyone is grinding RR at around 5pm GMT, I'd like to join in after I've watched BTCC qualifying. I want to grind non-stop until I get to Lvl 100 and raise around $2 million.

Later this evening I will be alternating between grinding and glitching to get about 8 mil in the bank if anyone is interested.
(Roughly 5 hrs from now)

I need to grind but I don't want to glitch :P
I understand... I have about 2 hours of free time today and no additional time off before update.. With so little time available grinding wouldn't even get me 1mil.. But I rather enjoy doing missions. I have actually purchased $150 in shark cards and they are not worth the $ considering I have almost $2mil at the moment (obviously I spend a lot)and I have friends who have an excessive $25mil and up without spending an actual dime.. I am not really recconending glitching but my lack of time in game and belief that having spent so much actual cash I should have more GTA dollars for my real $ has led me to the alternative methods of obtaining in game cash...I would gladly spend more if it were better value..or x amount = unlimited customization like Franklins LSC in SP.

Please put a message in the FR or I won't accept it.

I'm on from about 23:00 GMT 👍.

I'm still convinced that the missions 'The Parking Garage' & 'Rooftop Rumble' need their names swapping, TPG actually takes place primarily on a rooftop whereas RR is the one in a parking garage. It's a strange oversight.

I like grinding Satellite Communications. Okay, the truck drive is a little tedious, but for a single player grind session it is by far the easiest now. I used to play with other people until I realized A) everyone wants to drive the truck, B) they don't know how to drive the truck properly, and C) they don't know the short cut down the hill.

So you're saying everyone else are morons?

I just played a Rooftop Rumble mission. 3 people were killed by the same AI driver.

I always end up with people who don't know how to play the new RR. The cars that arrive after the garage is cleared will not stop unless you shoot back. They pass me shooting at me but I don't return fire and they keep driving. I wait on the bridge for the guy with the file to spawn.

Same with mixed up with coke. I end up with some trigger happy players, who only want to kill, instead of racing to the other two trucks that spawn. So a two minute mission, turns into a seven minute one.

I never had a problem with the FIB. It's always random traffic that gets me.
