Always thought it was kinda neat how they went out of their way to model the areas which you CAN visit but generally wouldn't even bother visiting in the mission.

I can still use it for everything else though but playing games is a no-go. Now I'm torn between getting it fixed or splurging for a slim.

Still haven't done the HUMANE finale, wondering if anyone would be willing to help out. About 7PM GMT tonight if we can get 4 people on. If not I'll invite randoms and hope for the best. I'll be the pilot and you can work out what roles you want to do. Random's will get the easiest roles so they don't **** it up.

Well it happened a few days ago when it wouldn't read discs. I looked up the problem and found out that the lens might be dirty. Took it apart (since the warranty was long gone) and cleaned them as well as dusting it out. This helped but still didn't solve the issue (it would play discs but only after letting the system "warm-up" for at least 15-20 mins). Then suddenly it stopped altogether even after the warm-up phase. Further research suggests that the laser is dead, so my only options are: a) replace the laser, which will cost me ~$100 since I don't have the know how to do it myself, or b) buy a new system since stores around me have them listed for ~$150-$200. It's a tough call, and I'm not sure what I'll do for now but for the time being I'll hold off doing heists or anything for a bit.
