Wait it does? what did you do exactly? did you quit during the pre-2nd event job menu or right after you finish the first one?

You have to finish all rounds for the 1st job featuring the carrier. For example, if you set it 2 rounds, then you have to finish all two rounds. Then, when you get to where it says "Power Play 2", quit the playlist. When you enter freemode, the carrier will be in the same spot as it was in the job. The fog makes it hard to see, but you should be able to sort of make it out in the distance. Also, make sure that you are starting the playlist on the loading screen when you first start GTA V, not from the pause menu. It only works like that. I can take a pic where it is on the map if anyone needs it.

That's what I tried last time, twice. It was a pretty clear day and all I could see was a yacht in the distance. I guess this isn't something that works all the time?

Hell yeah. I want to take my cars onto it. Even if there's a risk of drowning them. Let's not forget, in the one heist setup, you're taking a very distinct path and have to deal with hostile AI. In free roam, we could explore the rest of it.

Here's what I've done. EMP setup, DO NOT board the Hydra, as you'll have to fly it to Sandy Shores. Once all of the enemy Lazers are taken care of, do not escort the Hydra as it is NOT required. Just fly back and land on the carrier.

Your team should have killed the enemies... If not there'll be just a few stragglers. Then you're mostly free to roam, except the doors to the lower levels are now locked. There's a ladder to explore the upper levels, and if you have enough health, you can 'drop' into the lower deck without dying.

It only didn't work once but it was because I didn't finish the job.

I did five rounds of Power Play I and waited for the settings screen for Power Play II, then quit to freeroam and went to the docks and couldn't see a thing.

For those potentially interested, I made a playlist based around tracks @Jahgee and I have made for our upcoming Whiz Wireless IndyCar Series. For those who want to try them out, I'm online now.

Edit: Playlist itself is rather big, but races will be short.

Yeah I'm Custom878. :P

Besides that, I was about to send you a message to just run the timer down to zero, and just before it auto starts drop his cut to 0%.

So that's what happens when you run down the timer? It auto starts? I should've done what you just said than.

I still got quite a bit, though.

Going to be doing Sightseer/Trash Talk for the next 5.5 hours if anyone is interested in joining (I'll be getting off at 3 my time for the NASCAR race)

Surely you can earn more doing sightseer/headhunter? I can average about $160 grand an hour doing that.

Sightseer takes me 6 minutes or so and pays 22K
Trash Talk takes me 6 minutes and pays 13K solo (Pays more with more people so add extras and even higher payouts)

That gets me 175K an hour

I can join as I'm in pretty desperate need of cash.

I bought the cheapest office, named my company

But as soon as I register as CEO it changes the name to the last name I used as a VIP.

OH 🤬, HE BEAT ME TO IT...:P

Do you know what? for the last 12 hours or so, my mind was thinking of making a video related to those type of youtuber's.

Anyone else notice the little active flaps on the rear of the X80 Proto? Saw that today when grinding.

Yep, active aero. I don't think they function when you put a different wing on. At least I haven't noticed it anyways on mine.

1 hour timer grinding VIP Sightseer and Headhunter got me 218 grand doing each as fast as I could and using my Hydra

The spare time waiting for the countdown between Sightseer and Headhunter I robbed stores which got me another 20+ grand

I sold Two Custom Sentinels that spawn up by Eclipse towers that got me another 34+ grand

So for one hour I got 272 grand but I could never keep that up for 4 hours as my mind would break.

Not a bad earner. Maybe swapping Headhunter for Trash Talk could earn me more but I couldn't be bothered with the job loading screens.

From an FAQ on the R* Newswire:

Why can’t we do Buy/Sell missions in a private session?
Succeeding as a CEO requires navigating the risks and rewards of the ruthless Los Santos free market – where everyone is out to snipe at your latest venture – so Buy and Sell missions were designed specifically for trade in public sessions. Keep in mind that more players in your session means a bigger bonus for successful sale of Special Cargo, while Associates receive wage increases for completing consecutive Buy or Sell missions with the same CEO. If you're concerned other players are hanging about your Warehouse or Office – pick the right time to sell, make sure you have Associates and get them to clear out players who are stalking you or waiting for you to execute a deal. Taking your team off the grid with the Ghost Organisation ability and exiting via the rooftop helipad where possible are also solid strategies.

Unquestionable logic IMO.

Allow me to translate that for everyone...
Why can't we do Buy/Sell missions in a private session?

We want you to lose as much money as possible until you lose everything. That way you're more inclined to buy a shark card.

Do you actually think R* should allow us to go into private sessions and grind cargo delivery missions?
Players should definitely have to 'earn' their rewards, not expect R* to hand them fistfuls of money to buy everything they want.

I didnt say that. I was just commenting on the real reason they want it to be hard.

That's very true.

But, when I started way back in January of 14, the early mission payouts were only like 1k, 2k. Now they're like 5k-10k. So they have gotten slightly better.
