I could see a three-seat configuration working if the drivers seat was somehow coded to be the only front seat in the vehicle. Not sure if there even are such coding differences between front and rear seats, but if there is, this is just that much easier. That leaves only the question of space and making the animations look not too ridiculous.

With that in mind, probably R* laziness.

The new Special Vehicle stunt races allow the use of your personal R.Voltic, Ruiner 2k and Blazer Aqua.

And surprise surprise: you can't disable the use of custom vehicles in these. So unless you own them, consider yourselves already racing to a consolation prize.

Part of me doesn't really mind these one-at-a-time releases. It gives me plenty of opportunity to use one vehicle before the next one is released, which I then again can dedicate up to a week to, and so on and so forth.

The other part of me does mind, partly because it takes so long for all vehicles to be released, partly because they'll likely be released in the way that generates the most Shark sales. With that in mind, I can see the Infernus being one of the last, in an attempt to build up the hype amongst people who aren't in the knowing and might buy a card in the inevitable bonus week leading up to its release.

Seriously, though, I think there's a connection between the amount of disappointed players hoping for it to be a Countach and how much I look forward to the Infernus. I mean, I wouldn't say no to a Countach, but I grew up thinking the Diablo SV was the ultimate in going extremely fast. There exists no universe in which I'm not putting at least one of those in my garage. Apart from our universe, that is.

I'm starting to think this update is just a hold-over for the next one. It's pretty light on physical content.

Yeah. There isn't any new clothing, either. You'd expect there to be some 80's themed outfits to match the cars. Hopefully the next update comes soon after the final vehicle is released.

If there's something I noticed about the GP1, it's that when you put a spoiler, the traction bar doesn't increase.

And here's something from GTA Series Videos: the unreleased cars.

Sounds disappointing, but until I experience it myself is how I will judge it. Also, I have this feeling that they're going to break the Sports Classics class if that's how they're driven as.

R* Newswire
a collection of oft-requested classic GTA rides - including one particularly morbid muscle car.

Any ideas as to what this one might be?

I've always kinda wanted the T20, now may be my best chance to get it at a discount :)

On a side note, I wonder if Rockstar will make there own version of the P1 GTR?

Since the update I can't access creator mode and when in single player I can't open any websites on my phone or any laptop. Anyone else having this happen?

Of course. More patches to download on my horrific connection.

Although the content is decent. Not sure which one to pick. And, if that unlocks all heist vehicles, then I know which one I'll get...

So ready

The F40 is a must buy for me. It's so beautiful!

Rumor has it that the GP1 has gold lining under the hood like the orginal F1(?). Can anyone confirm?

EDIT: GP1 is 21st on Broughy's list. Faster than an 811, slower than a Cheetah, around a track.

For those of you who can't watch a 3 minute video...

EDIT 2: 123.8 MPH, 11th quickest.

Can't open the rear where the spoiler is, but there is gold on the hood like the F1, albeit a large stripe rather than 2 of them.

full

It's not a good job, though.. :yuck:

Buying a GP1 solely based on how fast it goes around a racetrack is kind of missing the point, though. I've already decided to get all the others, regardless of performance.

Oh, I agree. It was a buy regardless if it was fast or not. I drove it a bit this morning; it felt decent in a straight line, while cornering seemed to have quite a bit of understeer. I just figured people would like an actual quantitative placement of where it was.

I don't even care if this and the Turismo are going to be garage queens, I'm still buying them.

That's pretty much how I'd describe it as well. I don't particularly mind the handling characteristics of it as all it ever means is you can throw the car around even more without losing control. It may not earn you any advantages on the race track, but as a car for driving, I'd argue it's up there.

The sort of testing Broughy does is useful if you're really into racing, but that's really it. I mean, if we all lived by Lord Broughy's words, none of us would have a vehicle that wasn't the RE-7B, Elegy RH8, Stirling GT or Bati 801.

Edit: Speaking of the devil, the GP1 is the 11th fastest super car, clocking in at 123.8 mph. Again, not that it ever mattered, but good to know.

The thing I don't like about Broughy's lists is that as far as I can tell, it's based around a single track. Of course, it's not a bad way to do a comparison, but it doesn't really tell the whole story with each car.

If you are going to compare any 2 things you have to have the same testing methodology.
If he had more time he would could have run a high speed circuit, short technical twisty circuit then something in between as well as the top speed tests. I think cutting coroners was a good balanced track. Most importanty its been there since the early days. Wouldn't make sense this far down the line to change the test.
