So glad I glitched the Tailgater in yesterday. What a crappy update. I don't like being the grumpy guy but they only removed the fun stuff and fun glitches, the ones that freeze your console are still well and thriving, coupled with a few more. :grumpy:

Why are people so surprised they removed the SP to MP glitch? It was an exploit. Which kinda means you're not allowed to do that.

Because people wanted more than one personal plate on vehicles in their garage, and also North Yankton plates looked great on many of the rusty and older cars. Sure people abused it to sell Adders constantly, but I mainly used it for vanity plates (like my Surge with a plate reading 'SHOCKING', and my Faggio with a plate reading 'SWAGGIO'). To put it blunt, Rockstar should have just included an option in LS Customs to edit the text on a license plate to one's liking.
Ah well, it was fun while it lasted.

I had the same thought. That sounds hilarious. I also wouldn't mind someone appearing in the elevator but they'd probably be on top of each other. NPCs spawning in my apartment could be potentially amusing as well. I thought they said they were only going to fix damaging/exploitable issues, not fun ones. :P

I didn't even know you could pass out, I've tried with beer. Gave up after 20 or 30. Only just got an apartment with whiskey and wine, havent abused the whiskey yet although I did drink 10 or so glasses of wine in a row which didn't even get me drunk. I've often had alcohol be completely ineffective - seems like 3 out of every 4 times for wine. Sometimes you'll get drunk but not have the wobbly-screen effect too. Bongs often fail to do the screen effect too, and just now I smoked one with no smoke(or effect). They really need to fix important issues like this, the game is nearly unplayable as it is now.


The "fix" for changing positions incorrectly in races is not entirely working, I saw multiple times today players jumping to first around checkpoints and leaders constantly retaking first from someone a mile behind them. Didn't notice any bogus "15 overtakes" messages or the associated RP bonuses, at least.

I take my Stinger GT to LS Customs. Door opens, I drive in, the car stops...everything normal, right? No. The cutscene never triggered, and I was able to drive my Stinger around inside.

I jack a random car off the street, and it did the exact same thing. Weird.

This usually means LS Customs is closed. It usually closes when someone kills someone nearby, shoots at the shop or gets in a cop chase right outside.

No. LS Customs was not closed. There were only four other people in the lobby, and they were all in one apartment. I hadn't killed anyone or gotten a wanted level. I drove up to it, and the garage door opened, but the cutscene never triggered. After I backed out of LSC, the door would not open.

Then LSC was closed or your vehicle wasn't tunable.
 
So I just got this weird and irritating glitch with my bikes... I was going around in passive mode on my spare Scorcher that I don't really care about when some guy decides to shoot me and steal my bike, so naturally I kick him off it, and he gets unreasonably mad and blows the bike up. It says he paid the $25 insurance, but I call the insurance company and it's not in the insurance list. I went and joined a new session and brought out a new personal vehicle and everything but it refuses to show up in my garage. I then tried to buy a BMX to see if it had just disappeared randomly like my Bodhi did less than 24 hours ago, but it came up with the 'replace a vehicle' list except with only my 2 remaining bikes in the list, not even an option saying 'Scorcher (Destroyed)' or anything.

tl;dr Because of a dumb insurance glitch I think I've permanently lost a bike slot in my garage that actually would have been really nice to have for a spare bike.

Does anyone happen to know a fix that doesn't involve selling all my bikes or buying a whole new house?

EDIT - It finally came up with a Scorcher (Destroyed) option when I stole a new blue BMX from Grove Street.

That happens quite often with vehicles / bikes. They get caught somehow between the insurance, cop impound, or being destroyed. After a few minutes this problem usually resolves itself. I have had it happen a few times with different vehicles.

I lost a fully tuned Dominator and then a $650 000 Cheetah with over 150k in mods like that. And it was bought after they took away the hacked money. Never put valuable vehicles in the 1st garage slot is the lesson I learned :/
 
Is garage slot 5 safe? That's where my Z-Type is. It's my favorite car and I would hate to lose it, especially since it's so expensive!

I've seen numerous people report cars disappearing from the 1st slot and tested it on myself a few times as you can see above... All the other slots seem to be good :)

It's usually me that destroys them. :D Occasionally the LSSD gets their car or two.
