It's good but I'd rather they focus on adding different missions. Played again this morning and despite playing 'new' missions they were still all the exact same thing. Drive somewhere, kill some guys, take something, drive it somewhere. The end. Or you will only have to do the killing/destroying.

And they did the same with Base Invaders. Gives the half of what it usually did; $12500.

Man that sucks. I'm not updating yet. I'm still getting 25k for Base Invaders.

That was added a week ago!

Reported for not viewing the OP daily.

Why should I look at the OP, I don't know when it gets updated so how should I know that there's some links and stuff there?

That is the obvious assumption, yeah. They've made the lower two very tempting (to some people, not me) as well, £2 for 100k and £3.50 for 200k. I can see those two being very popular with the less patient players.

That is cheap, didn't realise they were priced that low really. They're going to make a lot of money then. Again.

Twas a joke!

Okay, sorry man. Hard to read that over the internet.

Doesn't sound that bad, in my opinion. I might get the 100k package if the Danish store-prices match these, I think.

Thanks. 👍

Bit annoying about them halving the mission cash on Base Invaders and such. Was the only time I ever made decent cash.

Oh well, hope this free 500k comes soon, would like to buy a better car. My Futo is getting stale.

You could buy three good cars with that much money. Maybe more. Unless you want to blow it all on the Monroe?

Hmmm... I'm actually fairly interested in those GTA dollars, they seem pretty good value. I might buy a couple of $200k packages at the start of next month (I'll definitely have enough money to buy them at that point and I'll probably have spent my free $500k by then).

What about those Survival missions you get when you reach rank 15?

Yeah they're separate, I was talking about those that are classed as 'missions'.

Speaking of those I can't believe they went and adjusted them to make them harder. Boneyard they stopped you getting on the roof and moved the crates in the building so the cover isn't quite as good. You can still camp behind the little portacabin but I think they also adjusted it so enemies don't run towards you as quickly. So it's still fairly easy but takes a lot longer if you don't move out from there.

I'm really enjoying the Sawmill survival, it is a nice setting. Haven't found an obvious place to camp like in Railyard or Boneyard though. I am at Level 51 and haven't made it past Wave 7 yet.

Boneyard is the easiest, there's a trailer near a wall, to the right of where you start off. Hide between the two and you're invincible, not even the chopper can get you. I handled a wave 9 on my own pretty easy.

Railyard, no clue :grumpy:.

They can get a bit tedious at times, especially since the waves are always the same - it would be far more interesting if there were survival missions which were less 'survival' and more 'defense'. It's all very well being told 'kill every last one of these enemies', but it would be pretty interesting to have 'kill every last one of these enemies before they get to an objective'. It would encourage people to actually cover different areas of the map so that nobody can get past rather than all camp in a certain area where they can all rain hot lead on the tiny groups of enemies coming in one at a time.
I'm not saying 'remove/change the existing survival missions', I'm saying 'give us some more unique ones'.

I'm going to clarify my statement - I've completed both Boneyard and Railyard. I'm just currently stuck with Sawmill. I use the same spot for Boneyard as well.

For Railyard theres a railcar in the train shed which functions as a giant bulletproof bathtub. Get two people in there and the survival is fairly straightforward.

Ah I get it. Haven't finished sawmill either, there's a 4 walled box I found but it has no cover for the choppers.

I use that place in railyard too, problem is communicating with another random person :indiff:.

Yeah on any map you absolutely have to be under cover when the choppers come otherwise the crack shots will hit you and kill you. It's why when you could still get on the roof in Boneyard it was useless on the rounds with choppers, you would always die unless someone dealt with them in seconds.

1. Make sure you have a Combat MG.
2. Shoot at helicopter.
3. '[Name] took down a helicopter'

Does survival still pay $20000?

Last time I checked it does. But I haven't completed one in the last 24h.

I find other players get the idea in survival when they get picked off and end up spectating while the rest grind through the wave from well-covered areas. I just got a headset though, I am hoping it comes in handy for these modes of gameplay.

It certainly helps but managing the choppers and the foot soldiers simultaneously is usually quite awkward.

I was surprised that they stopped allowing people to get on the roof. I found camping there to be quite a significant compromise, because of the lack of cover from helicopters, and the fact that the occasional shot from the enemies on the ground could still hit me even when I was crouching behind the walls.
