GTA SA Criminal Ratings

People say that they have Godfather on GTAForums, but I wouldn't believe anyone on that Forum without proof, and possibly examining that proof for Photoshop editing.
 
yeah i noticed the godfathers and king of SA people. but funny enough they had no proof or value to the title.
 
The highest level on GTA III was 5,000! I think that Rockstar realised before they put Vice City out that there is an awful lot of seriously hardcore people who hit 5,000 within a few weeks and decided to put the highest level up to absurd levels to make it a serious challenge.

And several people even on this small forum managed to hit 1,000,000. That's why I thought when I saw King of San Andreas as a higher level than Godfather that they might have gone silly and made it 2,000,000 or more.

I've come across a couple of lists similar to mine on other forums, but it looks like some of them made the same mistakes I did and misread the list so put "Four Star" and "General" as different levels. But they also included numbers for them which makes me think that a lot of the numbers floating around the internet are bull****. It looks like they just stuck numbers beside incorrect level name to make it look like either they'd reached those levels themselves or to make it look like they knew what they were talking about.

I trust the regulars here when they hit higher levels more than I'd trust a list posted by some stranger on a forum where people are still putting up posts and threasd like "I killed Bigfoot with a rocket launcher today!".

Also i will leave the list unvefied until the regulars here verify, GTA forums will be used to see if i can make the numbers and levels close as possible, but they wont be truly verified until one of us makes it, or i see some screenshots on GTA forums, but even then it could be some noob trying to be pro.
 
I think that we didn't confirm the Godfather level in Vice City until months after it was released. We all posted records of 200,000 or 300,000 and after a while I think that pedrodaman posted a picture proof of 1,000,000 of Godfather. But that was 6 months or so after Vice City was released. I think we deserve to keep a very skeptical attitude about silly claims about Godfather or what have you. Someone here is bound to hit the higher levels eventually and post proper proof.

well i dont know if i will be the first but im going to get to King of San Andreas.
 
Yeah. Well, if you find a good killing spot, it would make it a lot easier. Someone should search for the person with the highest rating on the net with proof.
 
well i have and so far i havent seen anyone thats higher than me. im currentlyat 277,000 or so.
 
On another note... if you look in your stats when on a killing spree... I think under "Crimes" there is a stat called "Kills since last Checkpoint"

I'm assuming Checkpoint means either last Criminal Rating statistic, or last number of kills...that's certainly odd though. I'd like a better explanation on that. Thanks for pointing that out though, yeti, that's something completely different. 👍
 
im sure its kill since last save or paynspray :) when you save or go to paynspray that total gets added to you CR.
 
Sounds about right... this could be another stat to add to the old Record Book...

Would be quite hard to get high as you'd have to be careful not to amass too much police trouble/pain etc... I had mine at about 50 the other day with a 6 star rating in Los Santos... I ran into my save house though and was trying to see if my longest time with 5 stars was in my stats... this only got added when I saved as well though... (About 4 1/2 minutes!) (Technically this stat is longest time with 5 or more stats I think...)

OK then... not too hard to get up high then... yours dwarfs my 50!!!

Problem is you'd have to make sure you got the photo of the stat before saving...

Ahh yeah, definately after last save. I never thought of that...

I might just add this to the Record Book if someone posts theirs. Although, Dion, keep in mind 1st Place will need a screenshot, and it will change after you kill some more people...

Just a hint for you.
 
You should be sure you can definately make a screenshot of it when posting a Number 1 in this category. But if you get in first, Dion, you won't need 1 I guess...
 
yeah you can calculate the 400lvls of vigilante, to get it. i have the right score writtin in my stat book
 
last time i checked i was OG, ive decided to finish up taking the last of my gang territories since i finished all the missions and what not like 3 weeks ago
 
well i just got high roller (300,000) so the OG is all good, and the start of high roller is all good as well

Can I point out that the "Kills since last Checkpoint" stat isn't actually affected by Vigilante kills... I did Brown Thunder this morning... got to level 13... then cancelled it... flew over LS and killed some more then parachuted down to Grove Street... checked the stat before saving... and it said 26... Which I presume is the amount of collateral kills I got during Vigilante (And the ones I did whilst flying over LS shooting stuff!)

However I will point out one thing... This was the first time I did Brown Thunder so maybe completing level 12 was a "checkpoint".

More investigation needed....

I would think after hearing this that kills whilst on Missions and Sub-Missions don't count. I'm pretty sure Kills on Missions and Sub-Missions are "Legitimate Kills", so I would think that Legitimate Kills don't count. Only "People You've Wasted". In that case, Dion, you would need a Screenshot. ;)
 
oh well, when i get camera i will do 400 or so vig to prove you wrong.
