i thought i would attack 8-track, this time i spun out twice so i should be able to go faster.

Edit tried again, still wasnt perfect but none the less fast enough

I tried the LV Ringroad race a few times tonight before I got my 1:57 time. Man those other drivers on the freeway are nuts! Who can changes lane that quickly at 150mph? They're breaking the laws of physics!

I ran the whole race on the very outside of the ring road. There's probably a second or two to be shaved off the time if you can cut to the inside of the wide corners on the so you don't lose a few mph and a few fractions of a second turning. But good luck trying to navigate around those other chaotic drivers.

I also kept getting hit by blind drivers who were taking off ramps at 150mph and rammed me off the road.

Yeah, that race is quite ridiculous. I also ran around the outside of the freeway in getting my 1:56 time. It took me about 6 or 8 tries to not get hit by anyone. I would bet something like a 1:52 is possible if run perfectly on the inside of the freeway loop.

As for my races... well i've been working more on completing the game than racing lately. After doing the quarry missions (wow that last one was ridiculous... did it like 8 times) as well as some other missions, i'm up to about 80% completion.

I am also working on a complete vehicle map with Fingermouse from GTAForums.com (he has some spectacular PDF maps he made himself in Adobe Illustrator). With his permission I am taking a blank version of one of his maps and putting locations of stationary cars on it. After i'm done I will post them up here as well as on GTAForums.

around 3 and half to 4 hours. im at about 110 hours played. :)

Thanks TwinTurboJay. I think i spend a little to much time, Ive had SA for 1 month and ive already got a better CR and more hours played than my 1 and half year old VC save. lol

lol my VC save has over 300 hours on it :)
 
I'm at about 90 hours played-- not a whole lot left for me to do--- Looks like I'm gonna get 100% at about the same # of hours as in VC--- 104 hours-- of course I put in over 400 hours in VC just on my 100% save
 
I had 1 old save game with almost 500 hours. That was one of the last 100% save-games I had. Nobody knows how much Blake and I played. I would have got 100% on Vice City around 5 times or so, and the amount of "Storyline" Save Games we made, including restarting and doing missions up to certain points, I would have had possibly 1000 hours racked up.

I spent more time on Vice City than at school. :lol:

The last save game I had wasn't that much.

By the way, I agree with Jay. You've spent a lot of time with San Andreas, congratulations. You deserve the highest Criminal Rating. 👍

Well it seems like im taking about 500+ hours to max out my money in SA... spent tons of time in the horse betting on the 11/1 and 12/1 shots and have only won once. I won on roulette a couple times with $1,000,000 on one number bets, and once on wheel of fortune betting $1,000,000 on $40. I thought the horse betting was random? I've played probably 40 times now and have only won once.

On another note, I have never, ever won on any slot machines. I've pulled the handle at least 150 times throughout the game and have never won. And yes, I have all the horseshoes which means I should supposedly have increased luck... I give up :(

lol, do the vigilante takes about 3 and half hours, and youd have close to 100 million now so thats about 30 less lvls, id say lvl 360 and youd be done.
 
Well, let's keep it on-topic. But to help, go and save outside of the Four Dragons Casino, and continually go inside and bet on Roulette. 3-in-1 is the best way. Continue to do that, and save after every win. After every loss, load up. It's tedious, but that's how I got a heap of money up.

Anyway, let's get back to Records, shall we?
