Has there ever been a Carmageddon mod for GTA V?

For those that don't know, it's basically when vehicle wheels have no friction. It worked with hilarious results in IV but I have no idea if it works with V. The handling model seems very similar if not a slightly tweaked version of the one from IV, but I honestly don't know how it works.

Yes, there is. You'll have to look through the cringe-worthy YouTube videos, though.

FailRace did a video on one.

Decided to trade my copy of GTA V in, as I'm gearing up for MGS V. I briefly considered getting the XONE version, but to be totally honest, I don't miss it, even if I never got to finish all of the online heists.

I don't know how good MGSV will be, considering the crap Konami has been pulling lately, but I don't blame you for trading in GTA V.

Anybody know where a Dominator and Sabre Turbo spawn in singleplayer? I've been looking for a few to costumize so I don't blow all my money in online, but I hardly see them...ever. Little help, if possible?

I see them sort of in the in the central area of LS (in between Rockford Hills and the Airport). Failing that, the area to the east of the city (a little south of the docks) seems to have them spawn there sometimes.

You can replay the mission where Mike has a shootout with Merryweather, the FIB, and IAA (sorry, forgot mission name) and steal one from there when escaping. It should spawn in the world afterwards. As for the Sabre, Trevor can steal one from the last side mission with Joe (civil border patrol). A black one spawns next to where you go to start the mission.

Regarding the second one, if it has already been done I don't think replaying the mission will work.

Tell me you did not just call the Blista Compact a yellow turd!

Well, to be fair, I called what I saw a yellow turd because it's yellow and looks to be a bit of a turd. Now that I know what it is and what it was based on...

...I stand by my initial remark.

*gasp*

I have a feeling the R* editor will come in the last week of September. It's the 10th and all we have to go on so far is that it's coming "later this month"

So I finally got GTA V for PS4, and I have a quick question. How long will it take for the game data(?) installation to finish? It's been stuck on 9% for about an hour now, and I'm getting quite worried.

Took me around 20 minutes for it to install (the one where you're stuck at the loading screen).

Ah, damn 👎
Quick google search found this thread on Gamespot

Post 1: I've pre-downloaded the game and started it up 15 minutes ago. I forgot the tedious installing process from last gen. But now I am getting unpatient. The game has now been installing for 15 minutes, and is only 1% complete. Is my game messed up, or does it take this huge amount of time to install this game? If I'm lucky, I'll be able to play this game at 2 in the morning..... at this rate.

Post 6: ok, so I figured out what happened:

Even though the Playstation told me the download was done, there was a "hidden download". In the "dashboard" press Options and Information under GTAV and I realised I had only downloaded 30 of 50 Gb!!? So, my game was still downloading as I was installing - that's why it was so slow. Woke up today and download was 100% done. Took 3-4 seconds to install.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe this is the issue?

Nope, 57.04 GB in size.

And the install still stuck at 9%? You may have to uninstall the game and reinstall it.

Is it just me or does the driving feel different on next gen?
I've heard some people say the cars accelerate slower (although I don't think they do). Handling felt no different when I first played it last year. But the damage is reduced e.g. When you hit an AI car head on on the highway the wheels don't fly off the AI cars anymore when they did on PS3.
