GTDesigned: A Community Vision GT Project

We'll going to add a series of poll for 3 days, for now the layout

  • Total voters
    116
  • Poll closed .
So a rating system for the poll?
That does sound great, would definitely provoke more people to join the project, as well the idea
of having them join a project so they can influence it too.

Well my car page is up.It is a LEGO creation, so the design varies on the bricks design,
but nevertheless, for me it looks beautiful.

Please don't throw those 2 ton comments at this car.
I only wish the community to take some parts of this car to the final design.

I'm not one for big cars, but that looks great! 👍

Because of the constraints of 'Lego' bricks, the styling's reminding me of a car crossed with a truck. Which got me thinking, how cool it would be if it could lift the rear wheels for better turning capabilities (may give it Porsche like handling with the rear overhang).

I finally got around to taking pictures of my varied designs. :D

And sorry for the terrible quality photos too.

I've been thinking about drawing something similar to the LCC rocket. I really like how it connects to the racing cars of the past. I don't really have the time right now though, but I might have something next week...

Yes it is an ugly car but on another note if someone does make an "ugly" design please only give them constructive criticism.

I guess it wouldn't...but I don't see why we would want to...care to elaborate?
Well, if we were to make it the hybrid and FR, we wouldn't have to worry about putting so much stuff at the back, and have equal focus at the front and rear, allowing us to be able to have a simpler approach at having a balanced weight distribution.

Well yes that would be simpler but I was thinking with how it would be now we could try for something like 35:65 or 40:60 F/R weight balance to give it some extra launch grip (may need it if we end up with anything past 350hp) and make it harder to control at high speeds. It just seems like it would be fun having a modern car that was built to be twitchy...but I can also see how some, or most, people would want a stable car. The biggest problem I see with it is what you said first, cramming all the stuff at the back but couldn't we solve some of that problem by placing everything that doesn't NEED to go in the back (besides the engine of course) at the front?

Yes Grandea it's fine, since Jordan is having us restart due to not having enough participants to accurately display the views of the GTPlanet community
so... We need more than 2 people to agree.

Honestly it will take the confirmation of a developer (hopefully PD but others should be considered) allowing us to put our car in their game before a massive amount of people contribute to the project.

How about we get a small, but popular car company to be apart of our project.
This could light up the group and get more people.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't think that would be possible. A smaller company is actually less likely to say "Why the hell not?" Because they'll have limited resources and workforce to do a side project with.
