Regulations​

• Standard Online Racing Rules Apply.
• No Cheating, hybrids, illegal engine or turbo mods, etc. You must run the car specifications I give you
• Try keeping at least 2 wheels on course. Long races = small mishaps, but absolutely NO shortcuts
• No wall-riding as well. Combined with penalties, this will slow you down considerably, so don't do it.
• All decisions by GTMSA officials are final

Cars are to be run at Showroom stock HP (unless otherwise specified). This is to keep the field competive and fair

Qualifying​

• 30 min Session
• RS only
• Skid Recovery is prohibited. ABS & TCS is optional
• 2 point for Pole

Race​

• 30 Laps
• No Weight penalties in place for Round 1
• RS, RM, RH tires or any combination thereof
• Tire Wear & Fuel Consumption on
• Skid Recovery is prohibited. ASM & TCS is optional
• Points for race: 20-18-16-14-12-10-8-6-4-2
• 2 Points for fastest lap

Success Ballist System
​

Weight penalties will be applied in QUALIFYING AND RACES. Weight will be added or subtracted depending on the finish of the competitors for all points-paying races while special rounds will not be affected. The following penalties will be allocated after the results of the race and apply only for the next round:

1st +5%
2nd +3%
3rd +1%
4th - 6th 0%
7th & 8th -1%
9th & 10th -2%
Lower -3%


Please note that if you don't run the race, your BHP and kg values for the next round will remain the same as before. In other words you WON'T get a decrease in weight for not racing.

I waited for 45min, then went and found something else to do. I sure hope the turnout is better tomorrow for the race.

Well, this is not looking good at all. I've decided to add everyone competing to my friendlist because other then alefin and Brandon, I don't know if they don't care or are still confused.

It could just be that they will show for the race but not practice. Since the weather is getting better, a lot of people don't want to be stuck inside during the weekend afternoons. I'm not sure how many practice days I'll make, but I'll be there for the actual races.

I see this a lot with series running in the summer, especially ones that run in the middle of the afternoon on weekends.

You are right, I ran a turbo. There was no mention of not being able to use on in the car specs. All it said was we had to meet the hp/kg limit. Even if we can't use one, I don't think you should have gotten a penalty, since it wasn't clear that it was not allowed.

Alright, it appears I really need to rewrite the rules because between me trying to even get the series going and having to even get people coming period, I haven't made them quite clear so I want to apoligize to everyone for that. The specs on the cars are again based on their stock form and going off previous seasons, I had trusted everyone automatically grasped that meant no tuning, but that was not the case. From here on out, I want to reiterate that no modifications (other then anything I approve) are allowed and will put that in rules. Again, I apoligize for the confusion. This really should have been better thought out then it was.

Update: GT300 results have been nullified. None of the points gained there will count because of the error with the rules. Round 2 points will count and no Success Ballist will added for Round 2.
