yeah, Ninja and paul scored some good points and with ABP out it gave them a huge boost

Yeah, Trial mountain wasn't on the calendar but it will be a better track to race.
I will be looking at the Honda situation

Last week I suggested to postpone it but as everyone wanted to race. We were going to turn up and if there was a problem we'll go Daytona as it wouldn't affect us.

I'f it is postponed next week i'll still open a room but the races wont count towards the championship, bit unfair.

Anyone about tonight?

Is anyone willing to give a hand with season 2 testing? As we are introducing new cars need a lot of work to balance these

Also, i'm thinking about giving the Honda a -5bhp penalty, not 10 as the car at 3rd place becomes way too slow, opinions? (Not you Honda guys ;) )

Happy to help with Season 2 testing mate.

On the Honda situation, everyone chose their cars at the start of the season, some did more running than others (I only tested at Daytona, more fool me) and you did say that certain tracks favour certain cars more than others. The success ballast is there for a reason, on most tracks it kills the Golf too, since it's power is easily it's greatest weapon. I'd leave it personally, Season 2 soon... :D

It must be this custom gauge bug which is crashing the replays too, the replay of me and Paul at Trial Mountain last night works perfectly, still can't see the Daytona races...

Everyone gets the penalty. I've been running 280bhp most of the season so far and I am a sitting duck on all the straights.
Then factor in a slipstream and once someone is with 0.750 of a second they only need a small straight.

I'm happy to help with testing for next season. If you tell me a track to test on then give me some cars you want me to test then I can test my Meg at 330bhp and 280bhp over 6 laps of the track. Then test the test car to the same tests and get it as close as possible.

about 12 laps I think mate :)

I'm not putting any limits there, as it will cut out a lot of good racing. But the chicanes (especially last one) i'll be looking out for

Bets on someone to roll it? :sly:

I expect I will at some point, I always do

I gotta say guys, always been a big GT fan but grid autosport is awesome, not as good a sim, but much more fun due to GT's problems :(

Sorry haven't been following the thread lately, but what's the problem exactly?

PD apparently not being able to afford QA testers lol
The fact that customer gauges cause more problem than they are worth... :D

haha don't worry mate, i'll sum it up

I think you know but there are sound bugs and invisible drivers.
If you have any of the gauges on take them off for now

Right, I've spent the last three days on GTA5 and barely done any running. Opening a lobby for the forseeable future, join in if you're about and up for some testing... :D

Guys, I've thought about it and unfortunately, tomorrow will be postponed.

I was hoping there'd be a quick fix this week but PD still won't do anything about it. So I really don't think it's fair the amount of hassle we'll have to go through just for lag and invisible drivers, that's if we can get out of the pits

I'll probably still open a room for a mess around, but it's better to wait for a championship round until we'll actually enjoy it

Yes, there has been a patch released which I believe has fixed most of the bugs so hopefully we won't have those silly disconnections

Well, I thought it was off so have planned to work later today. If it's back on then I might not be there, see how it goes...
