It is with regret that PSR are announcing that their No.1 driver Choochter (aka the guy with one Fan Hi5* @True-blue-8) is no longer going to compete in GTTCC3 as he will be engaged in other commitments for the remainder of the year.

He had this to say:

"I'm gutted as even though my first season was nothing to write home about, my pairing with @sb360 for this year and with extensive work on the VW by Prodrive I'm sure we were to have a very successful season. But alas I'm sure he will be hopefully more successful without me dragging behind. I wish him and the rest of you the very best of luck"

Guys. I have no idea what to do. Now again we're off on the wrong foot. I put down the rules clearly. Sunday is the last time I would accept a list of your preference, but if you were around a failed to provide me with one, we'd move on with the next batch. After sunday 21:00 I would then assign cars to people.

So I try and do the right thing for people and now it's caused problems, and I've lost enthusiasm.

If they don't like it then so be it. Life is tough. And you know from experience that you can't please everyone, but most is enough. You know how badly I didn't want that Nissan? Well it's the same story. :lol:

That's the thing, the people it affected and I done it for their benefit haven't exactly made them happy now

Trust me, until you have 12 or 13 people complaining then you've got a problem! :lol:

It's not possible to please 25 people mate. ;)

I think that most people are happy with their cars and that's the main thing.

I know, but it was the 25 who were affected by 1 driver

I now have a dilemma, which is bound to upset someone at least.
Either I take all car choices back in and give back out (although I had clearly laid the rules of the weekend out before hand, not my fault if people won't follow them)

Give Emo his BMW. This then means 5 BMW with 5 drivers who will probably get through every week

Ask emo to pick another car

Despite having hardly no weight and full power, the Renault struggled
 
Personally I feel that deadlines were available for ages, car settings were available for ages so if no decision was made you did the right thing. The cars all seem pretty balanced so it shouldn't be a major problem to pick another car....

If you do want to take all the cars away and dish them out again it will likely only affect two people, shouldn't be a major problem but IMO not needed.

doing that then takes cars away from people who have kept in touch on the thread and got their cars to me after a week of testing

Exactly, that is why I think it would be best all round if emo picks another car.

Just mentioning that if you do decide to re-pick all the cars it shouldn't affect more than a couple of people, not that it should really affect anyone.

I can add that, most likely, everyone will probably end up with the same car anyway, it'll only be 2 or 3 that will have a different car.

So, Pre-Q will be a 10min race. Top 5 will stay in the room. Everyone else then leaves and joins another lobby (yuc is absent this week so will ask someone after the race to open one, and will give them more info afterwards)

When all D1 drivers are in, track will be reset. They will all enter the pits but must not join track until green flag is called

Race 1 - 20 min Normal tyre wear at Silverstone National
Reverse grid
Race 2 - 30 min tyre type change at Motegi
Super-Pole. Those not familiar, you drive out of the pits and complete your out lap. You will then have 1 flying lap only to set your time.
Race 3 - 10 min at Monaco

think that is it

Next week is an off week. The GTP ES GTOR team will be doing a mock race to practice for our first event. opening up to you guys. if you want to drive let me know 👍
