So looking like motegi so far

I have a test/tune lobby open now if anyone is about.

I have repeated my 1:32.7 but it's offline, going to see what I can do in an online lobby.

nah, far from 'oh dear'
Be braver downhill he says. Go quicker trough there.
Went flat through there I did
Crashed I did

The GT300 car Base Model

If your talking about the first real down hill turn at Bathurst, what's a right turn then more down hill for a left then into a tight right.
You can't do it flat out, but as you enter the first right stay to the inside.
Not as your think of taking it really, but you can gain a little more speed round it.
Plus really give yourself room to setup up for the left and into the right as you come flying down the hill.

If you enter it wide you just slowing down to much and not trying to go off the track, then your in a right mess trying to make the left.
If you do make the left then your more than likey crash on the right lol.

Just don't hit the right hand wall going in

Think I'm talking turn 11.

That makes quite a difference too 👍

It's always best to test online with the correct lobby settings. Doing it any other way is just giving false results.
And we were all sat wondering why he was getting 32's, plus I think weak boost makes a tiny difference, too...

I might be online later today. I'm thinking that I might put the Toyota through its paces and see what I can do with it. I tried it on Wednesday against @CptMadBean's C4 at Silverstone and it's pace was good. I think that it surprised us both. :tup

If anyone is available later, let me know. ;)

I'm actually considering the Toyota so would be good ;)

Have FGT at 9 so should have an hour or so before. Need to get practice for GTP ES though, @RacingLine has ruined our plans

Updating the GTOR page

I can match your 1:33. ;)

Can't see how a 1:32 would ever be possible really, at least not in my car anyway.

I had done a 33.4 before we turned Tyre wear on, couldn't repeat that after we had it on though. I think that must make a bit of difference.

I had to adjust quite a bit to stop cutting corners with real grip reduction on though. I think in race 3 without degradation a 32 might be on the cards with a perfect lap and/or a bit of a draft.

When you turn the tyre/fuel on it adds the weight of the fuel load, that's most likely what'll be effecting your lap times.

goog point that might explain it, it was probably about half a second. The fuel would account for some of that and the rest would probably be only having about 3 laps to put a time down before the tyres go off.

I've always found when you come out of the pits, cars a little tricky first few bends.
Then the grip lvl really good, this I think front tyres hit the right temp.
By the time your on your first real lap, I think tyres a problem to keep cool.
Well the way I drive they are lol, turning off fuel/tyre thing.
Just means you can hot lap again and again and again.
A Ian trick is have it on then go round the track till you run out of grip.

Turn one min speed for me seems 50mph, turn 2 min speed 69 mph.
Turn 3 done this once 89 mph, don't ask me how normal 86mhp.
Turn 4 min speed 72 mph, turn 5 87 mph, corkscrew turn 6/7 I think 50 mph.
Turn 8 88 mph, turn 9 82 mph and final turn 10 42 mph.

Now If I could in one lap hitting all them min speeds I think I could maybe get into the 32s.
But it's so easy to slow a little early or get something a little wrong and you can see 10 mhp come off some the high speed bends.
