If I'm a tiny bit late today it's because I was finishing watching F1, it finishes about the same time as room opens
It's alright, I'll be a bit late... I'm in heaps of trouble for a certain thing I may have said at Go-Karts today. My Dad has no idea what I said yet he makes up some big story making me look like an absolute idiot. Typical. Lying 🤬 🤬.

Sorry I bailed out.

The first controller had left trigger issues meaning it was impossible for me to use the brakes.

The second controller was too sensitive and it was either no steering or full steering and no power or full power so I'd spin in the corners.

So I gave up trying to put a single lap in. :(

ROUND 2 CANCELLED

Due to torrential rain and lack of entrants, the entire of Round 2 has been cancelled. Race 1 at Silverstone GP Circuit was Red Flagged after 14 laps with the race being counted back to Lap 12. Thank you to the two others, @SK8RBOI and Timlour, for sticking it out till the end.

As of a few complications in the points, we are adapting to a new points system;

3rd- 12pts
4th- 10pts
5th- 8pts

DNF- 0pts
Occasion Rule (Where you won't be able to make the race butyou inform me before the race)- How many showed up on the night - 1

These points will work exactly the same for both classes. Watch this space for the finalised/updated points.

Ok, I need to settle a few things...
@MannYhAvitZ and @swiftsmith, are you guy's still committed to the series?

Secondly, the next race is our first Marquee Event with double points up for grabs in a 1hr Enduro at Monza. I really need to see absolutely everyone there as it is the one of few jewels in the championship race, which is getting extremely tight as we speak.

David Talle / ElCondensator // #92 // Tangerine Scream
I think I'll give a try in Am-class.

Just to be sure, next round is at Monza on 25th, right ?

Ok, I'll put you in the driver's list when I get a chance. And yes, the next round is on the 25th.

Preliminary Driver's Briefing- Round 3 // Autodromo Nazionale Monza

Event Schedule:

10:40pm AEST- Room Opens, Practice Begins
11:00pm AEST- One-Shot Qualyfying Begins
11:10pm AEST (Estimate)- Race Begins
12:10am AEST- Round Conclusion

Genral Race Info: This race marks our first of three Marquee events that offer double points. This event is special as we are introducing a special qualyfying format where the timer is set to 10mins then one by one we complete one warm-up lap then the timed lap. The intervals will be one lap each. So one person goes for their timed lap then just as it reaches halfway the next person to go sets off on a warm-up lap. Failure to complete the session as outlined will result in an automatic rear-of-grid start. Racing will begin as-per-usual with the False-Start Signal Grid Start.

Pit Lane: Pit lane lines MUST be observed. Failure to do so will result in a strict penalty up to a 30 second penalty depending on severity.

Track Edge: Track Edge around Monza isn't too much of a problem as any advantage gained is easily seeable. As long as you keep it (all 4 wheels) in between the white lines, I have no problem.

Weather Forecast: Weather will again be based on real-time weather but real-time time will not be available. Keep an eye on the forecast.

Mass Disconnections: Will be adressed in the Final Driver's Briefing on Friday Night.

That's about it for the driver's briefing for now.

(GTOR) Renault Megane Trophy Challenge Announcement
As we are partnered with the GTOR, the race series that are partnered with it like to borrow each others idea's rather discretly ( ;) ). And that's what we are doing with @DirtyNurbKing58's Gran Turismo Touring Car Championship (GTTCC). We are going to introduce a system similar to their's in regard to driver discipline. Reprimands will be how it happens. Reprimands will be handed out for unexplained absences from races prior to the event, race incidents, behaviour misconduct and general wrong-doing.

If you happen to recieve the following number of Reprimand on your licence, you will receive the following penalties;
2 Reprimands - 5 Place Grid Penalty at the next Race
3 Reprimands - 5 point Championship Reduction and Drive-through penalty at the next Race
5 Reprimands - 10 point Championship Reduction
7 Reprimands - Drive through penalty at the next Race
9 Reprimands - Race Ban and 20 point Championship Reduction
10 Reprimands - Drive through penalty at the next Race
12 Reprimands - Series Ban

Credit to @DirtyNurbKing58 for an awesome idea. ;)

lol welcome mate 👍
I did have warnings too. 2 warnings = 1 reprimand but it was a bad idea.
If your handing it out for AWOL, give a strike first. After that reprimand each time :)

I'm back temporarily! My laptop is being fixed and I'll be back on as per usual sometime next month. Everything will continue to function normally even though I won't be on GTPlanet all that often now. Any questions about the series can be directed to @1996mikey2412 if I haven't answered within a day or 2. If I urgently need to say something but I'm not in range of a computer, I will get it through to everyone on PSN. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Glad to be second-in-command :)

Will run as per usual.

Tyre Compound Change: This WILL NOT be in affect due to a game bug which enables anyone to see the actual tyre compound on the cars.

@David Talle, I'm yet to receive a PSN friend request from you. The license system will be in effect from right now. Be there or else you'll get your first strike on your license. A practice room will be open tonight at precisely 10:45pm AEST (NOT AEDT), it is not compulsory to attend but it would go a long way in keeping this series on it's feet. See everyone tomorrow night and hopefully tonight for practice!
