State of the Series Announcement

Due to the events of Saturday night which were beyond my control, people have started to launch scathing attacks on the way I run the series. So, to address the concerns and questions of those people, I have decided to take the initiative to review how the series works. Here are the list of changes that will commence from the 27th October at 11:59pm AEST.

New Start Time: Due to the daylight savings movement, a lot of things have moved around. So to reassure everyone on what the NEW start time is, I will state and bold the time zone in both acronyms and the full form. The new time is 10:45pm AEST (Australian Eastern Daylight Time). This is NOT a daylight saving time.

Reprimands: There has been some negative feedback from people within and out of the series stating why the reprimand system is in use. My direct explanation is this;
I'm also using the reprimand system as I believe it is only fair for the driver's who actually show up week after week and put in their share of the work to have better "rights" over those who are uncommitted and do nothing to benefit the series. Do you see it now?
Now I understand that some people will still object to this giving explanations like, "It will give them too many chances", "Still can punish innocent drivers", etc. So, from now on, the Reprimand system will only be for incidents on the track or behavioural issues (abuse or unnecessary intimidation of fellow driver's). Driver's who do not turn up and have not provided an excuse will be dealt with on a less harsher manner.

Lateness/No-Shows: It has been brought to my attention that I'm being too harsh on lateness/no-shows. So from now on, it will be the driver's responsibility to provide me with a notification on whether they will be attending or not, even if they do not know for sure. If you however don't do that, which will be understandable, I will issue you with a "Please Explain" notice in which you can provide your excuse in there. So from now on the points that are given out to a driver if they can't make an event will not be handed out.

Another list of changes will be announced sometime in the coming weeks sometime before the start of the Asia-Pacific Leg. I will now regretfully apologise for my hard-line stance on this series but it is all in the interest of maintaining an organised series. However it has dawned on me that it may have somewhat held the series back so that is why I'm bringing in these changes.

Why did you leave saying that you had won? It was bad for you cuz we still hada race!
What?! When did I say I won?! I said all drivers who showed up would get maximum points, I later changed that to no one receiving points for that round as we never started. Unless you're, for some insane reason, confusing what I said about me winning my local club kart championship overall just before everyone entered and just before I left. Just shows how much some people listen. Even if you did have a race it was not officially run under my permission meaning it was, obviously, not official. And if @1996mikey2412 said it was official, he was clearly wrong and I'll have to speak to him about that if he did say it was official.

I did not see it as official as we did not start with your permission, I personally, saw it as a mock race, just to see how we'd get on if we did race.

Btw @SK8RBOI, that was extreme defending on the main straight on lap 2.
lol were you waiting for me to brake? cuz i didnt no were to brake lol. my friend came round just after i joind the room so i dint get much practice!
And can the races be shortend 1 hour is to long for a Renault megan race for me like two 10 laps is great

It was a preset lobby I think because it was only a 40 minute race

Hey @NW48, just wanted to let you know I got a GTP account, so it'll be easier to communicate with me.
Cool, it was easy to communicate with you anyway. You seemed to know what was happening anyway without me telling you much!

@NW48 I'll be away from home this weekend so unfortunately I won't be able to race.
Ok, two down this weekend then. Damn. @TNR_KING_FILO, perhaps you can race this weekend to help bring up the numbers. And @swiftsmith and @MannYhAvitZ, I hope you can make it for the sake of my sanity ;) . @ItzRacing and @fullgas62, we haven't seen you guy's in a while so I'd like you guy's to show up but I understand that you two have racing commitments like me most of the time so I understand if you can't.

Also, @1996mikey2412 will be doing the 2 driver briefing's this week while my laptop is fixed, so be nice! ;) Ummm.... I'll host an official practice on Friday night at 11:00pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) and I'll like to see at least 4-6 people there but I understand if you can't make it.

I'll be racing unless tim wants me to fill in for him.
Awesome. Hope to see people at tonight's practice session at precisely 11:00pm AEST. As far as I know, PSN has some issues so if they aren't resolved, the practice will not go ahead, but if they are, it will. @1996mikey2412, you need to do the Driver's Briefing ASAP.
