What do you use, a controller (a DS3) or a wheel (Logitech, Thrustmaster, etc)?1pm? Great
I'm not sure on which class to go in.
Okay so you'll be in the Am class for now unless you win 3 races by a considerable magin in which case you'll be promoted to Pro. Just need you car number and you are ready to go!Unfortunately a pad but I think I'm faster then allot of other people in my situation so I will join you for practice later.
Okay, I'll put you down as a driver, thank you for joining the series and iI hope to see you at tonight's final test day! (Remember to add me on PSN so you can join the lobby!)Y number is 6 and I'm in matt pink!
I'm faster than you thinkUnfortunately a pad but I think I'm faster then allot of other people in my situation so I will join you for practice later.
Ah so you're at home now, so we'll be starting practise races at around 11:30pm AEST. Also, try getting your numberplates organised ASAP. Am drivers need any circle number plate whilst Pro drivers need a blank square number plate.I just got home thinking I've missed it until I realised it's BST in Britain now (GMT+1) so it'll be 2pm you open the room lol
When is next time?i had some connection issues, which i never have, hopefully will be all good next time!
okay thanks.i think next up is the round 1, 26th sept
I was talking about this to my girlfriend, because you're in Australia and I'm in UK, naturally your internet will have to work so hard to keep that connection going.i had some connection issues, which i never have, hopefully will be all good next time!
The update has really affected the servers and I was having low connection at the timethis room was set up by NW in australia, based on your theory your internet would be the one having to work harder so am not so sure this would be the issue in this case at least. ive also done a fair amount of drifting lately mostly in american rooms and the odd japanese one too, i have never had a consistent connection prob until the latest update. its not even that im being disconnected, its more elements of sound are left out, or i have a ghost flicker in and out of screen which i have never experienced doing a fair few hours on track.. its more likely attributed to programming, when you update code it will no doubt effect a few other processes so will just take a little time to be ironed out. i have no worries it will be running much more smoothly soon.
@Mtla1984, this. The servers are always a bit 'hungover' after an update so I was always expecting a bit of a dodgey night with connections. It didn't go as bad as I thought it would. Anyway, the series officially starts next week on September 26th at Brands Hatch GP. I'll have a driver's briefing up sometime Tuesday then another on Friday before the race. The update has really affected the servers and I was having low connection at the time
It's all good, as I've said above, I planned to have these problems as the servers are usually a bit 'hungover' after updates so I had to plan ahead to find ways around the problems unlike some leagues and series'.Bloody Telstra!!!! Been into them today . . . hopefully the web is fixed . . . struggled last night once the web was up . . . . had no engine or tyre sound . . . got engine sound back but no tyre noise . . . very difficult to drive to the edge without the "squeal" ah well . . . - hopefully by the time we have our first hit out these small issue will be fixed . . . Cheers
