I want to join but first what is AEST in GMT?
AEST in GMT is GMT +10. So our starting time is 11:00pm AEST on Saturday's so it would be 1:00pm GMT on the Saturday for you. So, if your joining please leave your request to join in this formation;
PSN ID // GTP ID // Class // Number // Colour (Optional)
Thank you for hopefully joining!

Unfortunately a pad but I think I'm faster then allot of other people in my situation so I will join you for practice later.
Okay so you'll be in the Am class for now unless you win 3 races by a considerable magin in which case you'll be promoted to Pro. Just need you car number and you are ready to go!

I just got home thinking I've missed it until I realised it's BST in Britain now (GMT+1) so it'll be 2pm you open the room lol

Ah so you're at home now, so we'll be starting practise races at around 11:30pm AEST. Also, try getting your numberplates organised ASAP. Am drivers need any circle number plate whilst Pro drivers need a blank square number plate.

Ok, I'm guessing everyone is on before my lazy Friday self, I'll open the room thirty minutes earlier than expected.

i had some connection issues, which i never have, hopefully will be all good next time!
I was talking about this to my girlfriend, because you're in Australia and I'm in UK, naturally your internet will have to work so hard to keep that connection going.

Say, a room full of only UK or Australian players you will have 90%+ connection with rare faults. However, as soon as 1 Australian joins a UK room (or vice versa), that connection will drop to 55, maybe 60% and suffer a few problems. With 2 Australians in a UK room, you're gunna have serious connection issues...

this room was set up by NW in australia, based on your theory your internet would be the one having to work harder so am not so sure this would be the issue in this case at least. ive also done a fair amount of drifting lately mostly in american rooms and the odd japanese one too, i have never had a consistent connection prob until the latest update. its not even that im being disconnected, its more elements of sound are left out, or i have a ghost flicker in and out of screen which i have never experienced doing a fair few hours on track.. its more likely attributed to programming, when you update code it will no doubt effect a few other processes so will just take a little time to be ironed out. i have no worries it will be running much more smoothly soon.

The update has really affected the servers and I was having low connection at the time

@Mtla1984, this. The servers are always a bit 'hungover' after an update so I was always expecting a bit of a dodgey night with connections. It didn't go as bad as I thought it would. Anyway, the series officially starts next week on September 26th at Brands Hatch GP. I'll have a driver's briefing up sometime Tuesday then another on Friday before the race.

It's all good, as I've said above, I planned to have these problems as the servers are usually a bit 'hungover' after updates so I had to plan ahead to find ways around the problems unlike some leagues and series'.

Hopefullly everything is sorted by then and if it isn't, I'll detail what is the game-plan to fix these issues in Friday's driver's briefing. We'll find a way around the problems so no need to stress.
