pmac you badly need to get your racing attitude corrected, whenever ive ended up near you always something has happened and its always been your fault.

Did you run out of fuel? Im so confused, you were domminating :embarrassed:

I put to much fuel in (mistake) and had a crazy long pit stop. I came in first by 11 second I came out of the pits with carbon, just before he finished pitting :ouch:. Then as I was trying to get back to at least a podium or 2nd, I crashed and called it a day.

Ah dam mate well pleased you could make it :)

sorry that i had to leave, was getting horrible lag, others were all over the place and after getting lag r@ped twice i called it a day

i'm stuck with AOL for the time being as my mum signed a 12 month contract with them earlier this year so i'm probably going to be stuck with a poor internet connection until then. when she rang up the other day the man on the other end of the phone said the maximum speed we could get is 1.3MB

Well done Ketiux, hopefully I can be a replacement at the Autumn Ring 👍

Thank you!
I started the race 1st but lost 2 places before the hairpin due to a semi spin. I then was fighting in 4th place until lap 7 when I decided to make my pitstop. Car was eating tires and by lap 7 we were losing over 1.5 seconds a lap. Good thing top 2 stayed out but I think it was a mistake. When they made their pitstop, I passed them and they joined behind me. I then decided to stay out until they were close to me.

By lap 13, 2nd place was close so I decided to stop again 2 laps later. Nel kept going which was a relieve for me since I knew we were at about half the race (lap 16).

When Nel and carra stopped, they rejoined 2nd and 3rd while I was leading by a good margin, and decided to make a gap for my final stop (already had 3 stops vs 2 from the rest).

When I made my 4th stop, I was leading and Nel caught up with me fast. With 11 laps to go I was really smooth on tires trying to save them. Nel and carbon had already stopped (2-3 laps ago) and I knew with 11 laps to go their tires would not last. On lap 26 or 27 I made a mistake at the hairpin and Nel passed me. I kept my cool since I knew I had much better tires so I caught up to him and watched him for 2-3 laps. When I saw his braking point was longer and longer I went for it! Once I was in front, I was focusing on getting a good exit out of corners to avoid a draft from him...

At the end, I pushed to make a +10 sec gap to secure the win!

I had a two stopper lined up, and given that I was third just before my pitstop, I could have had a decent chance for a podium or top 5....

....Then my father wanted to be a self-righteous d*ck and reset the router.

Turns out me resetting the router to join the race without DCing caused his notebook to lose internet connection. He did ask me to reset it, but I was obviously busy and said, "I can't now, sorry." and because he wasn't to be given no as an answer, he did it himself to prove some retarded point.

I proceeded to bring up the issue at 11pm, and spent 30 mins arguing with him. Lectured him like a mother****er for the last 5-10 mins of it. He won't be hearing the end of it for a while now though.

You've just gotta let things like that go buddy, it happens now and again; no point arguing with your family over a game. I was leading the IndyCar race at SSR5 last season when my Dad turned the internet off and although I was kind of annoyed I just forgot about it....and went on to win the championship ;)

I have had many similar situations Storm. But my step dads a "know it all" so arguing is all he understands.. Even then he won't listen when he know nada about the internet anyways .

When you DCed I was coming up behind you towards the chicane. (You looked like you where heading to the pits for your final stop.) And you just went straight on at the kink on the back straight.. I was wtf are his fronts that bad!? :scared: Then when I seen you not slow I thought oh crap... Luckily I slowed and you car missed me before DCing..

Tom, It's kinda difficult to forget about something like that when the concept is identical even when the context is different, and happens often enough for the previous escapade to still remain somewhat in the back of one's memory. I find it funny just now that my mum's like "Well he does that to me aswell, and even I can't say anything to him because he pays for everything..."

It's called respect and consideration. You don't "buy" or "pay for" or "bread-win" that.

It turns how he wanted the router reset because he was doing online banking and stocking up on our little side-business he runs, and when I reset it to stay in the lobby, it locked him out from his notebook. That's fair enough, but I don't get into my "I'm doing X, Y and Z to prove a point." fixation from out of thin air. Be it genetic or observational, I got it from him. He didn't have to reset it there and then, but because I said I couldn't at that moment (implying I could a little later), he conveniently decides to do it at that precise moment.

I think you heard me when that happened Nel. That loud, "Waaaoooh" was probably seeing that happen. Some nervous laughter most probably followed.
