Last good EA game was Burnout Paradise, that came 6 years ago.

Still seriously uncool, because worst video game company.

Not even the original PS2 version of NFS Hot Pursuit 2 and Nascar Thunder 2003/2004 can save this company from seriously uncool.

It gets a meh from me. Far too many jump on hating EA because they find it the cool thing to do when enough time has passed from when they were mucking things up such as killing off Maxis & letting Blackbox drive NFS into the ground before allowing Criterion to breathe fresh life back into it. I can't give it a cool or uncool because the variety of games they stand behind is far too varied; tons of gems past & present along with several duds.

Probably a "meh". I used to love their old games. Bulls vs Blazers, NBA Live on the SNES are some of my favorites from my childhood. I rarely play games these days, but I do remember enough of their business tactics last few years to avoid anything they are selling.
Randomly off topic, but I implore you to check out 2K15 if that's your cup of tea. Developers have been interacting with fans on OperationSports for a couple weeks just jotting down all their feedback & promising to deliver a fully customized experience.

'Cus you know, as a basketball fan. :P

Whilst I personally disagree that its the worst company ever (c'mon, there are much more important companies who do much more in the way of poor business decisions), it has dived dramatically since the mid-to-late 2000s. They've just been running the same ideas into the ground based on whats successful but not necessarily good. I get that all major companies are in it for cash, but they are plainly able to make some good stuff.

Constantly closing up companies when reception isn't good, half-arsed ports, cheap DLC practices, emphasis on online stuff and just lack of consumer care means they have a long way to go before they can be deemed reasonable again however.

Oh, and they (indirectly) led to the 3DO. That just makes it worse.

I don't really follow NBA like I used to(ignore the avatar). Just like EA, NBA is business heavy & the actual "game" often take backseat to $$$. They need to reverse that trend if they want to be taken seriously. 2K15 baseball, maybe. :P
