It's because @Adamgp wasn't around to vote it uncool.

I do question his motives very much as well.

For what it's worth, it does have more SZ votes than the Miura. So there's that.

In a GTPlanet where the member count is...how much greater? In terms of scale? Mods??
Many more cars lower than it have managed more SZs.

I think it's now above the 037, maybe bettering the 300SL. If this only barely betters the 037 (which I nominated, by the way - and think is the world's coolest) then we will be waiting a while for a new arrival in McQueen's Garage.

Let me have something.

To actually answer your question:

Oct. 11, 2010 (1 day after close of Miura poll)
142,298 members (according to the actual GTPlanet site as found in the Wayback Machine: http://web.archive.org/web/20101011225937/https://www.gtplanet.net/forum)

Interpret that how you wish.

Rounded down, there are approximately 1.7 times as many members now as there were then.

The Miura's 85 votes * 1.7 = 144".5" sub-zero votes
The Straddler's 100 votes (as of this post) / 1.7 = 58".8235924..."
[/Maths time]

It is a wishful way of interpreting I will admit. And it means very (very) little in the grand scheme of things. But w/e.

I am hoping to beat that 037 though. :P
(I voted it SZ, by the way. Very cool car.)

Don't worry. I won't be too sore about it ^_^ I could never have imagined the community would vote the Lancia above the F40, by quite a large margin even, relatively speaking. It's always in my mind's McQueen's garage though :)
I mean even Slash gave it an SZ - and it has a straight-4! That's incredible enough.

But yeah. The Straddler. Beautiful. Sub-zero as I said, even if I'm not that crazy about it.

I got a compliment outta W&N with the gearbox on the Straddler! I was proud of that.

You wouldn't be dividing the 100 votes by 1.7. All you need to do is multiply the 85 votes of the Miura. With your math you're effectively comparing the Miura with the Straddler's member count and the Straddler with the Miura's member count.
That's still a 45 SZ vote difference that the Straddler would have to make up but that's still better than an 86 vote difference.

People who debate the last few percentage points to judge the relative coolness of cars are kinda like people who calculate their share of the bill down to the last penny when they go out to a restaurant with a group of friends.

And you can't even drive them at all (unless you're reading this and happen to be Chris Zoechling, Nick McMillen or Jann Mardenborough).

Or this guy:

;)

Except I was around back then, I voted Sub Zero for the Miura. Check the results thread.

No motives here. I vote how I feel, and I don't feel this Alfa deserves a anything above an uncool vote from me.
I would like to know why.

I'm pretty sure when voting meh, you don't really care either way. It's "just another car".

Why meh in the first place though? Just didn't have an opinion on it?
Leaving aside the fact I find "meh" a bit of a cop-out vote anyway, the man's given his explanation, and it should be enough.

Corralling votes for a car is almost as uncool as trying to debate its coolness using numbers. If people don't like the Alfa for whatever reason, it's their choice.

I was genuinely wondering, not trying to corral votes (nice term by the way). It's not like he could change his vote, nor do I think I could convince him to. I just wanted some insight into his opinion.

Not placed in Steve McQueen's garage, no thanks to 4 people...

There is a car that He actually owned that will up for polling some time, it's is practically a shoe-in.
