Who was it not intelligent or civilized? It seems pass issues between you and I are clouding your judgement on all future disagreements we may have. If you can't get past the past then not sure what to tell you. It was clear what I said and why your points aren't in any way a foundation to me (and others making similar remarks in general) on why the original car is cool. It's great that these cars can be turned into monsters for the drag strip or the street or whatever, but once again so can very many other cars. As received from the manufacture this car was nothing all that special, ugly, under performed for a market that loved big performing engines, from a company dying off from the weak state it had been forming and snowballing from the early 70s on forward.
In the end it's like the Pinto or Yugo, the butt of car jokes, and not something all that admired by those who know it. Hence why I don't see how it's cool or why saying what you've said makes it's original form any cooler.
*note: Irony of the person who liked your post also has the same clouded judgement.

Oh. I ignored him a while ago. Felt the need to challenge me on every cool wall post I made that he disagreed with, and brought my age up at every conceivable chance he could.
Don't worry about it. If you think it's a cool car, then vote cool. After all, this isn't a dictatorship. One guy doesn't say how cool or uncool it is.
Regardless, the Cool Wall isn't about petty feuds. It's about cars. Here's a video of a Gremlin that's drag modified, competing in a wheelie competition.

Actually you just proved, my point. In the fact you bring up past threads from long periods ago (since I haven't debated with you in a great while) only give further credence to the idea that you have a chip on you shoulder no matter what I say toward you and automatically take it as me trying to put you down.
Also I didn't take jabs at your buddy, I said the truth he, like you, also has this idea that any time I go against what he says it's to put him down. My issue is the fact that you want make claims as you just did and yet not provide sufficient proof or how my argument against you isn't in fact civilized or intelligent or any other matter.
Go ahead if it makes you feel better, but this is a forum and disagreements and on topic debate are what keeps them alive. No one is making a dictatorship or saying you should see it one way or another. Rather just stating why it seems silly to mention indirect reasons for coolness that hold no relation to the original idea that is being voted on.
If you can't handle the idea that I'm actually trying to just have discussion and this isn't the nascar changes I think should happen thread (paraphrase on the thread title) where we had this big fall out, then that's your issue. I've moved on and get in similar discussions with people new and old from time to time. Why you and certain others feel as though your special targets is all in your head really.
Anyways this has gone off track and the modified dragsters posted (which you used as a reasoning for why this car is cool, before they were posted) is the point I was making. Yes the car can be made into something interesting, but it didn't come like that and to get it to do what is posted takes quite the work. Any other personal discussion should be taken somewhere else but I'm sure you can be bothered to figure out past transgressions because to you there is probably nothing to solve in your eyes. Your debate skills need some work. As for past altercations with you, well old reputations die hard in your case.Also, there are other reasons for my S-Z vote (a new one being that it seems to ruffle your feathers) but you seem to be hung up on just the 'monsters' comment.

If being able to modify a car to make it fast counts for a car being Sub-Zero, then why bother voting anything other then Sub-Zero on any and all cars that grace the Cool Wall?
I generally dont like the look of it really, I think its just the front end though. I dont mind low HP vehicles, especially if they are on the lighter side, but I still find it odd that it's just a tad bit low on power. 120-150hp is usually not the range I think of when I hear "V8."
I voted Uncool. Mainly becuase I dont like the way it looks and I don't really know much about it to base anything else off of.

I don't mean to point any fingers, but what's the point of all this, you guys are just trying to score cheap points off each other. Can't you guys just get to the point so we can get this thread back pointed in the right direction? Maybe I'm just sucking up for brownie points here, but I really think you should meet up at some point and go over the finer points of your disagreements.
I dunno, maybe there's no point, but there comes a point when an argument reaches a point that it's just pointless. Don't take the pointedness of my criticism the wrong way, it's just my point of view.

I absolutely agree with you. Stuff like the petty argument there over points that are based solely off of opinions are why I rarely post on these things anymore. Maybe it's just me, but it gets old watching what is essentially an e-fight break out to protect internet egos in these posts.

I have tried that, but he doesn't care too which happens a lot here, people feel slighted cause someone disagree with them and is asked to explain how that exactly works out. Sorry if it annoyed you Noob.
It happens in every cool wall thread, it's just people arguing the finer points and trying to understand each other. If people really feel that fragile to put their opinion out there, then why join a forum in the first place. I know it's blunt but the point of a forum is the expression of information and opinions on a larger scale, and in doing such discussion unfolds and with that disagreement and agreement at times. The point is you joined a forum where it will happen on a frequent level and usually in a controlled manner.
Sad part is this gets explained all the time in these threads, and even more funny is that those disagreeing with this argument have also been in arguments that also were received with likes or dislikes. And it will happen again so....

I never said that I don't post here, all I'm saying is it gets annoying to see the same three or four people go at it on these threads (JMoney for example). That was something I already knew considering that this is the internet- a place where logic and facts are usually ignored. For the record, I tend to lurk these things (cool wall threads) mostly to see when the inevitable train wreck will appear, and I'm well aware of the debate an arguments since I've been in a few. One more thing- I tend to lurk one famous site in which if everyone debated the way they do over at that site, we'd all be banned in a day at most.

three or four...I've seen a number of frequent people beyond that who debate in these threads. It's usually the three or four that you can't stand the most that always seem to be the prominent or only ones. (not saying you personally but in a general sense). Also I don't see how people would get banned I mean there is a ton of debating that goes on here and people as I said do it in a controlled manner so they don't get banned.

You do have a point with the first part there, but even with those that I get irked with, there are still a handful of people who I see get into more argumentative debates (even throwing out the ones I can't stand). Then again, that might just be me walking into the wrong cool wall thread at the wrong time.
As for the second point, I bolded a couple key words. The other site I'm making notes of is anything goes and full of profanity (even the mods there are a part of the culture there). Abuse and insults are part of the game as well. That would be why everyone would be banned if those rules came over here.
