Uncool. Too 80's and too yuppie. Plus this guy owned one and I have to imagine this how most of the owners looked when it was new:

Now days, no idea, but I still don't think it's cool.

I'll be the guy that says Bill had a 911SC with a fake fin (or whale tail), which was a wannabe move back in the day.

Pretty sure the producers of 'Office Space' didn't have the cash or connections to rip the bumper off a real 930.

The overall shape is nice enough (classic 911), but the impact bumpers are ugly, as is the rear spoiler.
IMHO, a car without 5mph bumpers that has suffered a parking lot bump is uglier than a car with 5mph bumpers that reveals nothing or limited evidence of the same event. They do their job. :)

I used to drive a 1985 318i and I was grateful for those things. The worst I ever got was when someone slammed into my rear bumper while I was street parked and left the bumper pushed in on one side. Not really a big deal compared to the cracked and crunched bumpers of my Legacy and my wife's Intrepid.

I think the original 911s look great in a delicate way, and I also like the 5mph bumpers, spoiler, and black trim pieces that make the 930 look well-equipped and complete, like similarly styled '70s-'80s cars.

It's more fitting for Lumberg to have a fake 930 anyway. Middle management types don't pull in 911 Turbo money, but even I've known a few that act like they do.

It's ridiculous and I love it. I agree older or more "regular" 911s were prettier, but also less endearingly nutso. Fast too, the 3.3 topped out at about 170 if I remember correctly. Oh yeah and gives me happy memories of owning this:

Sub Zero. Early turbo versions were quite undrivable cars that killed many famous people because of big turbo lag and then a sudden kick in then you least expect it to happen. (Unexperienced drivers).
