Euro fan boys talking about how Wblah blah blah is so much better than W blah blah blah makes it SU. Plus around here driving around in a MB makes you a snob or a drug dealer.

Well engineered but bland, generic styling, as is the case with most Mercs and dare I say a lot of German cars of that era. I get tired of the Wthis and Ethat arguments too, they are all so dang samey.

Meeeeeh.

SZ.
Fast, comfy, daily.
Understated to the masses and screaming at those in the know... Definitely a car I would love to own.

Not grading based on my opinion of other people's opinions of another person's opinion of my opinion of this car's coolness. :P

The quintessential C-Class AMG, before AMG started putting stupid spoilers, wings and inlets on anything it could.

The entire point it was to be almost indistinguishable from lesser C-Classes, but have close to M3 performance. Which seems to be lost of most posters so far.

I had the C32 which was one step further toned down style wise and a model sleeper, but it was also remarkably lacking in build quality. That was fixed in the 55 - Cool.

You had a C32? Awesome! If you don't mind me asking, what kind of maintenance and repair costs did you encounter with the engine?
I've been thinking about getting an SLK32

These days it's about looking all insane fast n furious style, don't know how much cooler you can get when the car itself is not trying hard with Performance to suprise.

No one likes a show off.

I loved the E. I like the newer C-Classes.

This generation simply doesn't move me, no matter how fast and competent a version we're talking about. Meh.
