I give it a mild cool, just because it looks good.
Don't care how refined it is, how small it is, how fast/slow/whatever it is, and whether or not it'll go around a corner. It just looks good.
Just goes to show, you don't need to photocopy and shrink a truck-based corporate nose onto a small car to give it the family look. Good job, VW.

It has all the usual Volkswagen qualities to it. Great build quality, nice fit-and-finish, and an ultra-efficient engine.
However, while normally I'm a fan of those vehicles that don't have much "soul" to them because they tend to be the types of vehicles that will suit all of my uses for it, I'm not a big fan of the Up. Maybe Ford and Mazda have clouded my judgment over the years.
