Aren't you forgetting? Race cars are uncool!!!
Because, as we know, people need to be reminded of that now due to the lack of recent race car Cool Walls.

How else would we know how many people would still vote incorrectly on a GTP Cool Wall?

It was on a race track dude. It's not cool.

Nobody has (although @MrWaflz55 thought it worth noting), now why do you think that is? ;)
Because it doesn't.
I assume the wink means you think you figured something out but are hoping for a particular response.
A nurburgring lap time doesn't make it any more or less cool.

Complaining about lap times being quoted is definitely uncool though, at least from supposed enthusiasts.
it's not particularly fast for a brand that's largely considered exotic to many people.
As I said, IMO.

But I like fast cars...fast. A 10 year old Camaro can probably beat it. Jmo.

0-60 in 4 flat, 12.2 1/4 mile with Car&Driver's conservative acceleration testing, quick enough to be in a dead heat with a 2005 Viper, it's no slouch by any metric I can come up with.

Honestly I'm impressed now. The numbers on paper look worse.

Now that Nurburgring time sounds even more shoddy though.
(7:49 isn't very quick)

Which, in this case, is a ridiculously laborious task that you cannot achieve from the driver's seat alone.
Can't be worse than a Murcie Roadster, though.

Voted cool. Boxsters are okay, but incredibly overshadowed by the Cayman & 911 sisters when you want to talk about Porsches with performance. I think even the Panamera Turbo S gets more media hype. But, the Spyder definitely trumps most of what Porsche has to offer from a design point imo, as I think it has always looked stunning despite not radically different to a normal Boxster. I think based on people's reaction, the car is in a bit of a middle ground; normal people see a Boxster, whilst car enthusiasts will recognize it as a Spyder & think, "Nice/cool/whatever", but not go ga-ga over it like they would a GT3.

I have a friend who has one of these, but however good it is, it ain't a 911. Even he agrees.

Meh.
