I'm beginning to think I voted the wrong way. I've bought Motorstorm Pacific Rift and I'm rather enjoying the monster trucks... looks like Sub-Z is winning anyway.

What is really cool about bigfoot is that Bob Chandler, the creator took his very own brand new F250 4X4 pickup and created bigfoot with it. Thats a huge expense and he was doing it just for him and his family to have fun and it turned to be a motor sport...wow.

well, it didn't happen overnight, per se, but he did start playing with it pretty quick. He owned (and still owns) a 4WD shop, after all. ;3

I believe the truck is on 44s or 48s in "Take this Job and Shove It," which, granted, are a fair bit taller than the typical 33" super swampers, but aren't exactly the 66s that he ran a couple years later for the stadium car crush.

Lemme see if I can find Bob's field car crush vid, you'll see the...erm..."short" tires.

Yes you are entitled to your opinion, but when you make daft statements like this:

I'm going to call you out on it. Being a non-street legal race vehicle shouldn't affect the coolness level. If it did every race car outside rally cars would be uncool.

If you think it's uncool just because you don't like it, that's fine. Just be prepared to defend it if questioned.

That's right. It's not the only reason I voted "uncool". I'm not interested in Monster Trucks and stuff like this, thus I don't like it.

So why are you on these forums? If you don't want to have a discussion then there really is zero point in posting. This is actually not irrelevant spam, this is actually a pretty good point. You said that the vehicle was uncool for the simple reason it's not street legal, which I called you out on.

Ignoring the whole "I joined a forum to not discuss things" thing, how is the reasoning behind the opinion of a Cool/Uncool judgement off-topic in a thread where you vote for the coolness of something?

We aren't harsh on him, thought at first glance it would seem we are.
Joey D is absolutely right, it's the only reason he listed.

That simple there makes it seem that it's the only reason why the car is seriously uncool. And he was called out for that especifically. And while he meant something else, what he meant wasn't what he wrote.

The first comment you made said the only reason that you voted uncool was because it wasn't street legal. If you would have started with "Uncool. I don't like monster trucks", that would have been the end of it.

I have zero problem with you not liking them, I did think your reasoning in the beginning was daft therefore I called you out on it.
