Sub-Zero. Coolest doors ever, first petrol powered production car with fuel injection, and all around automotive icon. The design is just brilliant as well. Not to mention Ralph Lauren is pretty fond of them, and in my mind he's cool when it comes to all things dealing with classic cars.

Sub-zero even though its poorly designed floor panels will keep your feet nice and toasty (or on fire).

It has Desmodronic valves. How could it NOT be living in LIquid Nitrogen? Even better, SOLID nitrogen!

Cool. Only misses Sub-Z for me because after much deliberation I've decided I don't find it pretty enough. The later 230 and 280 SLs (the "pagoda roof" versions) are cooler because they're more subtle, less chintzy.

Gullwing doors, fuel injection, an Iron-block engine (granted it has aluminum heads), beautiful design, and it's all rolled up into one iconic classic.

Those ingredients make this car...

SUB-FREAKIN-ZERO

Awesome looks, epic doors, and was one of the fastest things on the road at the time. Sub-Zero. KELVIN.

I vote to have anyone lynched who votes below Sub-Zero!

Anyways, my father has good memories of this car. When he was a young like me (he is 60 right now) he used to see one near the warehouse he worked in. The fact that he stands besides the TV whenever I use this car in GT4 (something which he rarely does) makes the car Absolute-Zero.

Sub-zero of course. Inspired a fashion icon in doors, and the rest of it looks impeccably beautiful as well. Not to mention that at the time it was the fastest production car in the world.

I have to agree, I just don't think it's very good looking. However it remains a classic, so a cool from me.
