Here's another one:

TVR Cerbera Speed12

tvr-cerbera-speed-12.jpg

Engine: 7.7 liter V12 (twin AJP6 straight sixes combined at the crank)
Curb Weight: 1,000 kg (2,205 lbs)

Power: 675 bhp in race trim. Supposedly 800 bhp in road trim, possibly 900+*

*Broke dynos, so nobody really knows. Make up your own number between 700-1000 and you'll probably be just as accurate as the official figure. Makes 480 bhp on just six cylinders, though... without destroying the dyno.

0-60 mph: 2.9 - 3.5 seconds (if you can find traction)

0-hedge: same (whether you have traction or not)

0-100 mph: 4.6 seconds (claimed)

Top speed: 240 mph (claimed)

Due to the overwhelming response I think we need to let the list shrink a bit before we add any more too it. There are currently 37 vehicles in queue, which will take us almost to November. I will open up the nominating again once the list has shrunk down a bit.

Thank you for such a great response to the GTP Cool Wall! I hope everyone is having a great time debating various cars. I know I like the activity in the Cars in General section of the forum, it always gives me new posts to read every time I login!

I am going to leave the thread itself open though, as it will make editing the first post much less of a PITA. I ask that you please refrain from nominating vehicles though.

No problem, I'm having fun doing it. Like I said it's nice to have some activity in the "Cars in General" section that isn't dealing with what car something should buy.

Ooh, I have a suggestion I want to make but can't because it closed.
Cizeta V16 T

Joey, just a note, but you should probably make "Bigfoot" 1974-2010, just so that we cover the entire line of the truck's identity.

Alrighty, since it's getting close to November and the list is currently at 11 cars, how long until it's opened again? :P

I know I said I'd throw together a graphic for the wall, but I didn't have time before the semester started, and since then we've added quite a few vehicles to the list. I'm still up for doing it, but it'll have to wait a little bit until I get an afternoon away from schoolwork to throw together some ideas.

Nominations Are Currently OPEN

Please remember to post the year range, a photograph, specs of the car, and any other information you think might be useful. Skip over this and you nomination won't be added.

The nominations will close once then list hits 30.

And to save on posts, I'm going to throw my nomination here:

Oddly enough, it was that or another infamous J-body, though that one's infamous for entirely different reasons.

Love the Model A Ford nomination. I have firsthand driving experience with a stock one.
