It's not gonna be the same people. Most guys on here are affiliated with teams, and most teams are already involved. NEMESIS, MLD, Burst, RSM, etc. So new guys could be invited by their team members. But I see your point about new guys who may not have a team, so I'll probably set up a "license day" like I talked about before. If you show enough skill and it's deemed you're not cheating, then you can obtain a license to qualify.

Not to bug you with questions. But when you do this you eliminate the people who do not have/use a GTP thread. Like us at SR Elite. We don't use our thread.

I really don't want to sound mean here, but this comp is based of of GTP, not SR Elite (not even really sure what that is, TBH) so anyone signing up should have a GTP account.

In another hand; after a long research (2min) I've cono to the results that my Chaser is officially the less powered car registered until now. I mean, its a chaser!!!!! There is a Miata with 600hp.
I don't know if I am the only non-hybrid since I can't really tell by the list if drivers.

Cars that have '---' on Chassis, Engine, and Drivetrain are Normal cars. I was thinking about making a listing of which are hybrids and non-hybrids but deemed it unnecessary. If a '---' is found anywhere else it usually means that the category it's found in was not specified by the person who signed up. Basically, there are 4 other normal cars entered, 5 in total.

Not really sure what you mean, this has been pro am the whole time. I appreciate your offer, but if I do hand this over to someone to run I've already talked to the people who would and have said they would keep the same formula. No disrespect meant to you Danger, but the guys I've discussed this with have been involved every round and have been helping since day 1 pretty much. The guys that have been competing are good trustworthy people. I don't see a need to change anything.


On a different note, not to draw attention away from this but I need to do a bit of a shameless plug here. I'm hosting a F1 2012 championship on PS3 that runs every other Sunday at 4pm EST and we need some drivers. So if any of you guys use a wheel and wanna get some fun intense racing in check out the link in my signature. We've got about 7 guys right now but can have up to 16 I think. All the cars are equal performance and we've had some really good races so far.

I'll be hosting some fun races this Sunday and round 3 is the following Sunday.

Yeah, unfortunately. For some reason using a DS3 gives you a half second to 1.5 second advantage per lap. It's a known issue and Codemasters hasn't fixed it.

Not necessarily. DS3's can scrub alot more corner entry speed by straightening their front wheels.

So if you can get the braking and turn in right it's a perfect corner every time. The wheel is taking into account corner speed, tire wear, fuel load, wheel angle, downforce levels etc.

Not trying to be conceited but I'm pretty quick, could have made GT Academy first year if college wasn't a factor and barely missed top 32 last year. Some guy in the first race we did put down a lap half a second quicker than I did... on the harder tire when I was on the softer compound. It's a pretty obvious advantage, so I had to ban DS3's.

If anyone else is interested, please post in that thread, I don't want to take away from FD here. Anybody got their cars finalized yet? I'm pretty happy with my Mustang

And I am probably going to switch my car. Retiring the RX7 for a while. Got to used/comfortable to it. Can't do that. I like not knowing what all it can do so it can scare me.
