*Sigh*..... ok.... I'm gonna see if I can find a different car. There were some.... complaints... so to say that I'm trying to focus on speed when I'm not. So I'll find a different car to use.

If it's under the 600pp limit, you can use it. I'll say the same thing I've said the last 3 seasons, it doesn't matter how fast your car is if you can't consistently tandem. Remember judging is based on how closely you can follow and mirror the other guys angle/line. If your car is way faster and you're constantly making adjustments you're just screwing yourself. Speed is not a judged factor in this series.

On another note, and one that's probably going to piss everyone off, if everyone read the OP I stated

I think all these swaps are getting a little out of hand. You wouldn't be able to put an LFA chassis under whatever in real life. Nor would you be able to put Zonda R brakes on a drift car.

Now, I'm not saying chassis swaps won't be allowed because I know there are some good swaps. Especially for the people who are going for stance as well. But some of these swaps are getting a little out of hand.

I'm going to be discussing this with the VIP's of FD, but as of right now I'm not really stoked about the amount of cars with ludicrous swaps.

Here's the thing tho, if this continues its not gonna be who the best drifter is, it's gonna be who has the best performing car. F1 sideways basically. And that's not what I want.

Although I understand what you saying LV, I'm not exactly sure how you can fairly allow certain chassis swaps, but not others. IMO, no chassis swap done in GT5 is realistic....it's 100% video game shinanigans. No racecar chassis makes sense, as it's easy to define what is and what is not a racecar chassis. But to say certain street car chassis are ok while others are not seems a little shady to me. To me, putting a 300ZX chassis under a S13 is the exact same as putting an LFA chassis under an R32.

Of course these hybrids will lead to certain combos being discovered - combos that are insane drift cars, but I think that's just the nature of hybrids. In fact, the most insane and fastest hybrid I've seen so far (Z4M, stock chassis, Viper V10) does not even have a chassis swap. This car is so fast it makes the Spirit R look like a Pinto lol.

Hasn't it always been like this to a certain degree? The performance of the car has always been a major factor in drift comps. The only difference between the past and now, is that in the past we had a much much shorter list of competitive cars to choose from.

UGH!! Don't even get me started on SupraTT's Z4M. -_-............ I swear that thing is a cheat car! And he added a wing!! LIKE IT REALLY NEEDS MORE GRIP!!!

I'm like "C'mon Supra! at least give us a fair chance!" LOL

As for the Hybrids. I kinda understand where LV is coming from but its gonna be "Extremely" Hard to regulate it. There are so many way's ppl can get by now with all of this stuff going on. Not saying anyone here would cheat but its just that there are way's around some of the rules I've seen.

I mostly keep my swaps down to just simple engine swaps, drivetrain swaps and recently transmissions swaps. Thats it.

By the way a little off topic for those that know I got my PC back. (FINALLY!! XD)

5. I Am not the only one using the LFA Chassi

6. Is, LFA Chassi on R32 more unrealistic then Silvia S15 Chassi on Subaru WRX, Gallardo Chassi on BRZ, Ford GT Chassi on SC300

There's nothing wrong with the Z4....that's kind of what I was getting at. There are going to be dozens of hybrid combos that produce insane drift cars. It's up to each individual drifter to find the best car for themselves, and then use a combination of tuning and driving skill to maximize the potential of that car.

No one has exclusive access to any one car, so it's not as though someone would have an unfair advantage by being able to drive a certain car that other's can't.

Predator, I think you need to calm down a bit dude. LV is trying his best to make this comp as fair (and therefore as exciting) as possible for all of us. We're just having a discussion here, there's no need to get bent out of shape because someone raised a few questions about certain chassis swaps.
 
The only reason this debate has come about -imo- is because there is sooo much freedom even in this pp limit of 600. Maybe 565pp could hinder some of these creations of mass destruction but, not everyone limits themselves like i do. So as far.as the rules goes, ya just gotta deal with it.
 
Relax guys, nothing is set in stone. I am not saying you can't use the LFA chassis. I was expressing my feelings on the matter at the moment, and like I said I will be discussing everything with the VIP's of the series.

It is going to be very hard to regulate everything. So just bare with me guys.
