DriftWorks - I think I already have you added

Powell - I just need to know what car before the first round. Whatever car you use for Rd 1 will be the car you must use all season. BTW there is now 4 BURST drivers signed up, maybe have two of you be on a satellite team?

Also guys, I know a lot of you represent teams with your PSN tags and all, but this is mostly a fun series. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't see a problem teaming up with someone from another team 👍

The Suislide team I made is just for this championship. It's not an actual drift team on GTP.

Car: Shelby series 1 601hp.

And what's a satellite team?

A team that is affiliated with a bigger team but aquires their own points. I.E. in IndyCar there is Target Chip Ganassi Racing which has two drivers, then there is Service Central Ganassi Racing which has two different drivers, but they are separate operations. They are technically teammates but they don't work together.

GTP: MLR_DAnGeR_KiiD
PSN: MLR_DAnGeR_KiiD
Team: Major League Drift (MLD)
Car: BMW M5 (E60)

Same situation here, there are already 2 MLD drivers.

Oh yeah. Well the 4 of us will talk about it, but if I'm right Dom has different sleeping patterns.

No you can still compete for the drivers championship, but your points will not go towards any team championship unless you can get another driver to team up with you.

Wow really? I came up with that years ago when I first got into drifting. Since it doesn't exist anymore it shouldn't be a problem then. 👍

Haha thought I was really clever when I thought of that. In fact, me and my buddy were going to start a real drift team in Vegas by that name back I'm 07/08. Never followed through though :grumpy:

Still need 1 or 2 more judges. Also, I need a few people to join my lounge tonight for practice and to help train one judge.

I should be online for this. Still need to try out my other car to see if I want to use it or stay with the Cobra R.

There has been a suislide drift association (along with an group of sponsored competitive drivers; marc rozzo, wade odrey, mike schneider, and rj nunley) headed by Wade Odrey throughout Western Pennsylvania and New Jersey and New York since like 2005 or even earlier. There are YouTube videos, and even a website along with merchandise (I have a sweatshirt) that are made by the real life association. The GT5 team that silvia_s13_lover and I were involved with was originally led by Silvia on Midnight Club LA and inspired by this real life team, and we even had a member who was on the real team (Marc Rozzo. If I remember correctly, he gave permission to use the name). you literally cannot go to a drift event in the east coast/midwest without seeing Suislide stickers on at least a few cars. Look up some videos on YouTube of the drivers listed above.

Since it was Silvia's team, it's really up to him whether there is a problem with you guys using the same name. Just know that if you do, you will probably be affiliating yourself with myself, Silvia, zedfonsie, mycatgoesmeow (now known as crispwheels) and some others, and a good bit of the community will probably think that you're associated with us. It would probably be most convenient for everyone, especially for yourself, if you decided on a new name.

In other words, Good luck with the competition! I'd join if I wasn't on the wheel starting out.

Literally blows my mind I never heard of this. I thought of the name way before 07, like early high school probably but obviously I wouldn't have been able to start a drift team at 14 or whatever lol.

Since it doesn't exist anymore if Silvia doesn't mind I'd like to use the name. If he does mind, I'd like to join the team.

Hey Lv I'm gonna use the BMW '07 M3 this season, thanks!

I knew our testing last night would prove the right car to use... :sly:

I know you will make us proud in the '07 M3!!

If only I could get in this one to run it with ya for the team - our twin M3's would be a major force!!

See!! It gets the people GOING!!!

LOL someday the M5 will get around to a competition. I'm just not confident in my tune yet, but it does perform alot better than it used to :D

If you need an m5 tune I can give you mine. Its a good tune for battles, just its too big for my liking.

Ima just stick with my Camaro SS "Edge Special". Its so special to mean, i even remembered the " and the Special. xD

Before I was really bad at drifting until I was in Suislide. Those people in that team made me a good drifter today. HAHAHA Suislide has funny people. Zedfonsie LOL

It is definitely getting there though. It was faster last night than it had been the other times during our testing/practice sessions. You are getting closer though - I could see the differences last night in our tandems. 👍

Seriously just tell me if you want my tune. Its actually faster that any m3 I've been with in it! No spoiler.

Suislide :sly:
There are no RM or D1 cars allowed. Entries must be a street car tuned by you.

Also, BURST already has 2 drivers. You'll have to find a teammate for either a satellite BURST team or just run without contributing towards team points. If one team has 4 drivers and another has 2 the teams championship would be one sided.

1: OP says Racecars or racemodded cars. i do't consider D1 any of those. I'l swich though.

2: we will talk about the team setups asap, so that gets sorted as well.

3: Put my car choice up as TBD then. Will most likely be my ISF, but not sure yet.

Okay I'm down to try out your tune! Thanks bro, I appreciate it

It sounds so weird not allowing a drift car in a drift tournament, but w/e. Its because it has adjustable down force front and back.
