Thanks SW - I can't wait to get home to try this method. Actually, the whole thread is quite interesting. I'd never read anything on FITT. After the gear change on Panorama, I improved my lap time by at least 1.5 seconds. Part was due to better driving, but most was acceleration I believe.Great race again today Geezers!..👍.

With which device do you record the Video from PS3 on PC?
If you (as I do) use the ELGATO Game Capture box, there is a knob with which you can control the volume of the in-game Sound:
There must be a similar way in case you use different hard/Software!
P.S.: and you can Change the view of the camera by pressing the "Select"-Button on your Remote-Control, wheel or Controller!

Thank you for posting 1791, I saved the replays with the 908 and the Mercedes but, forgot to save the Mustang.
I like to watch the replays, always something fun to see that you miss when racing.

I have to take issue with @WhoosierGirl 's race tips.....
I was already wearing the 'things' she was suggesting were the secrets to her success...
..and as you can see from the vid...they didn't help me!
...
...I still finished 22.855 seconds behind @WhoosierGirl .....
...maybe I need to experiment with different colours....

Any ideas for what cars you want to race? just so I can make sure I have one in my garage
.I like the idea of the 'same make' racing, but, the list in the lobby is a little short...
....maybe we could select a couple of cars in advance??..just a suggestion

Papa, Just wondering about your post on No Tuning, you said it would be a problem if they have done an oil change and maxed out their tuning set-ups.
If everything is set back to default you can enter "tuning prohibited" races. Oil and wheels are okay also.
Wings, floor, and rigid chassis should be the only components that would not allow you to enter.

Brand new off the GT6 show room floor, no miles at all, go change the oil and car will gain 7+- HP. PP will also go up. I have no imperial evidence yet to back this up, mostly because I change the oil in every car before I race it, but, somewhere between 200-500 miles the oil will start to deteriorate and the car will start losing HP/PP. There are reports, at some mileage point, changing the oil will not restore full HP.

I do the same thing... new car, straight to garage for an oil change, and a regular rebuild. I was just wondering why some drivers get a car and don't do an oil change, thus restricting the HP and PP.

Don't know about others, but I have mostly only changed oil only when I'm frustrated by lack of success at a track or race. My eyes have been opened.
