Just to let you guys (and girls) know that my 'race bike' is no Ducati, Honda, Suzuki etc... , this is it :sly:

Looks fast just sitting there.

Great race again today Geezers! :dopey:..👍.
Thanks for hosting @Stewyripper 👍.

As promised, here is the link to the trans method I was talking about 👍.
The post below the one I linked, is also helpful, to show..
... how to get the 'reference point' for the highest gear 👍.

Thanks SW - I can't wait to get home to try this method. Actually, the whole thread is quite interesting. I'd never read anything on FITT. After the gear change on Panorama, I improved my lap time by at least 1.5 seconds. Part was due to better driving, but most was acceleration I believe.

Still learning! Game sound is there, but very low. @WhoosierGirl  let us in on some of her secrets and now the Geezers are shopping for some Racing Gear.
Hope this Sat racing continues, great fun.

With which device do you record the Video from PS3 on PC?
If you (as I do) use the ELGATO Game Capture box, there is a knob with which you can control the volume of the in-game Sound:

There must be a similar way in case you use different hard/Software!

P.S.: and you can Change the view of the camera by pressing the "Select"-Button on your Remote-Control, wheel or Controller!

Oh no, I can imagine some funny looks from your family's.

Thank you for posting 1791, I saved the replays with the 908 and the Mercedes but, forgot to save the Mustang.
I like to watch the replays, always something fun to see that you miss when racing.

Great job @geezer1791 :dopey:...great vid!!.
Thanks for taking the time and doing a great job! 👍.

I have to take issue with @WhoosierGirl 's race tips.....
I was already wearing the 'things' she was suggesting were the secrets to her success...
..and as you can see from the vid...they didn't help me! :irked:...
...I still finished 22.855 seconds behind @WhoosierGirl .....
...maybe I need to experiment with different colours....
.... Pink might not be my colour ;)....:lol::lol::lol:...:P.

I'll try my very best to be free for Saturday! It really was a great time we had 👍
...now, what colour should I choose?? hmmmm :lol:

I can host a room on Saturday if anyone is interested, just let me know.

Last Saturday's racing was alot of fun and 'ol Duce would be thrilled to join in Stewy! :) 👍 👍
That is unless I've already set something up with kids or grandkids that I've forgotten :dunce:,,, which is something I do frequently now that I'm a forgetful GEEZER ;)
Just let us know the UK time that works for you buddy and we can do the time adjustments to make it.

GEEZERS ROCK! :gtpflag:

I can host a room on Saturday if anyone is interested, just let me know. Looking at 2pm GMT.

Should be good for me! 👍

Any ideas for what cars you want to race? just so I can make sure I have one in my garage :dopey:.

I like the idea of the 'same make' racing, but, the list in the lobby is a little short...
....maybe we could select a couple of cars in advance??..just a suggestion :).
For example, that Ford falcon was fantastic to drive :dopey:..👍.

What do you think guys??...I'll go with whatever cars you choose 👍👍.

Papa, Just wondering about your post on No Tuning, you said it would be a problem if they have done an oil change and maxed out their tuning set-ups.
If everything is set back to default you can enter "tuning prohibited" races. Oil and wheels are okay also.
Wings, floor, and rigid chassis should be the only components that would not allow you to enter.

Sorry @Old_Geezzer for any confusion. There's no problem with doing an oil change. The problem would be that those who did an oil change would have more horsepower & more PP than those who didn't. You're allowed 3 setups, A,B & C, & some people may have 3 different ones they want to keep. Therefore a tuning prohibited setting might force them to eliminate 1 or in the extreme, leave to buy another car.

Hope that's cleared up ?

All cleared up, but how long do you drive a car without doing an O/C ?

Brand new off the GT6 show room floor, no miles at all, go change the oil and car will gain 7+- HP. PP will also go up. I have no imperial evidence yet to back this up, mostly because I change the oil in every car before I race it, but, somewhere between 200-500 miles the oil will start to deteriorate and the car will start losing HP/PP. There are reports, at some mileage point, changing the oil will not restore full HP.

I do the same thing... new car, straight to garage for an oil change, and a regular rebuild. I was just wondering why some drivers get a car and don't do an oil change, thus restricting the HP and PP.
