When push comes to shove the best team will win.
There is the clue as to what will happen.

:mischievous::nervous: I don't often get to say diabolical;)
Check the latest expert seasonal...:mad::mad:

If PD continues that way, I am going to throw my PS3 and GT6 out, buy a game PC and start iRacing, RaceRoom or whatever decent sim racer available.
I was probably unlucky with my sets of AI, but I needed three hours to FINALLY win the event. Tried 6 different cars, just to get blocked, brake checked, slammed into the barriers, torpedoed, and see AI pulling away as if they had at least 100PP more, including decent tires...
Finally I won with the GSX R (after 6 or 7 tries) with a margin of (believe it or not) 17", doing same laptimes as before... Ridiculous...👎:nervous:

I like the game to be hard, difficult to win, no problem.
But this is over the top.
This and the fact that PD seems to imply different track boundaries (check the F40 seasonal, where you could completely cut the last chicane - found that out too late - and the GT Academy where you are barely allowed to hit a kerb) and several other gripes, may just be the last drop...and take the fun out for me.

Seems that there are "easy" sets of AI too, which makes it more like a lottery. I do not like the way it is going.
I would really like to improve my skills, but this way, that will be very hard.
The way AI is driving now is NOT a good example either. Just dive bomb into other cars... That may be fun for adolescents, not for me...
Sorry for the whining... :D

Hi Stewy, I have yet to buy the Citreon, and if I understand this correctly half will be in that car and half from the touring car list? I understand there will be "push comes to shove" activity, but are the speeds comparable?

Curious Mallard

Just FYI, the NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car works well for the Monaco seasonal (and it doesn't sound like you're inside a hornet's nest).
I also used that one, because I am pretty familiar with it. i used it for several seasonals before.
But this time, 6th place was the closest I got.:irked:
Like I said, it seems to depend on the set AI you get and still...
Really dislike this latest piece of art by PD...

All will become clear Saturday all i can say is i'm getting drunker by the minute. hic hic.

Sunday Morning Sex

Upon hearing that her elderly grandfather had just passed away, Katie went straight to her grandparent's house to visit her 95 year-old grand...mother and comfort her. When she asked how her grandfather had died, her grandmother replied, "He had a heart attack while we were making love on Sunday morning." Horrified, Katie told her grandmother that 2 people nearly 100 years old having sex would surely be asking for trouble. "Oh no, my dear," replied granny. "Many years ago, realizing our advanced age, we figured out the best time to do it was when the church bells would start to ring. It was just the right rhythm. Nice and slow and even. Nothing too strenuous, simply in on the Ding and out on the Dong." She paused to wipe away a tear, and continued, "He'd still be alive if the ice cream truck hadn't come along.

You're absolutely right @Fanapryde. 👍 PD have been too inconsistent with their AI model & their tires. Some AI drivers behave normally & others like they're in a demolition derby. :irked: Cars that I've used with SH now feel like they're on CH & go from blue to instant red without warning. :banghead:

I finally got gold with a Subaru B22 after many tries to get a fairly easy field.

The 2CV will be fully tuned, but the TCs will be stock @pmallard. If that's what Stewy is planning, I would set my 2CV's final gear to a setting comparable to the TCs. ;)

Hi Papa - there just has to be more going on here since my 2CV doesn't go anywhere near 170mph. I do not want to get inside Stewy's mind when he's sober, much less when he's had a "few".

To be complete about the expert seasonal Côte d'Azur:

Went back today (on my second account) and took the Audi r8 4.2 FSI R tronic '07 with Praiano's tune.
Always cars blocking and running only 1:42's I took the lead at Casino in lap 5 and still won by a margin of 9" over the Ford GT '06 and the Zonda. The rest of the field was way behind.
Not one AI rammed me today or seemed to have better tires or more power.

After some quitting and re-entering I found the same "mean" set of AI from yesterday.
Today they drove like lambs, giving way, not being extremely fast, sliding in corners...
I won several times with 1:40's as laptime and a final lead of 5 to 19 seconds over the Zonda C12 S.

Compared to what happened yesterday, this seasonal is completely ridiculous...
Yesterday almost impossible, today rather easy.
Someone even suggested AI behaviour could be connected to the car you use...
In that case, by all means: take the Audi for easy wins and big payout.

Good morning, howdy, and g'day geezers.

7 Camaro ss touring car 10
8 Mazda rx7 touring car

rooms are up for testing for those who want it.

The field for the final event will be divided into two. half will be in the 2cv with comfort hard tyres on and the rest will be in stock touring cars from the above list. Each tc driver will have a 2cv partner to look after and the object is to get your 2cv across the line first. only the 2cv can win and your partner must be with you when you cross the line.
In the event there is an odd number of drivers that driver will be in a touring car trying to split you 2cv's from your partner.
There will be a pit stop.🤬
As usual apart from the above your object in the 2 cv is to win at any cost, the touring cars will be taking out opposing teams as well as pushing, having tested this a 2cv at 160 mph on comfort hards :nervous: being hit by everyone else is funny, very funny.
room will be open today at 1.30 racing starts at 1400 ish Uk time 0900 Eastern.
There will be absolute carnage in the last race.

I am sure the following only applies to me in here but some might find it amusing (tl;dr warning):

A.A.A.D.D.- KNOW THE SYMPTOMS!

Thank goodness there's a name for this disorder.

Age-Activated Attention Deficit Disorder.

This is how it manifests:

I decide to water my garden. As I turn on the hose in the driveway, I look over at my car and decide it needs washing. As I start toward the garage, I notice mail on the porch table that I brought up from the mail box earlier.

I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car. I lay my car keys on the table, Put the junk mail in the garbage can under the table, and notice that the can is full. So, I decide to put the bills back on the table and take out the garbage first...

But then I think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox when I take out the garbage anyway, I may as well pay the bills first. I take my check book off the table, and see that there is only one check left. My extra checks are in my desk in the study, so I go inside the house to my desk where I find the can of Pepsi I'd been drinking.

I'm going to look for my checks, but first I need to push the Pepsi aside so that I don't accidentally knock it over. The Pepsi is getting warm, and I decide to put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold.

As I head toward the kitchen with the Pepsi, a vase of flowers on the counter catches my eye--they need water. I put the Pepsi on the counter and discover my reading glasses that I've been searching for all morning.

I decide I better put them back on my desk, But first I'm going to water the flowers. I set the glasses back down on the counter, Fill a container with water and suddenly spot the TV remote. Someone left it on the kitchen table.

I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV, I'll be looking for the remote, But I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table, So I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs, But first I'll water the flowers. I pour some water in the flowers, but quite a bit of it spills on the floor. So, I set the remote back on the table, Get some towels and wipe up the spill.

Then, I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do.

At the end of the day:
The car isn't washed,
The bills aren't paid,
There is a warm can of Pepsi sitting on the counter,
The flowers don't have enough water,
There is still only 1 check in my check book,
I can't find the remote,
I can't find my glasses,
And I don't remember what I did with the car keys.

Then, when I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all day, and I'm really tired.

I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some help for it, but first I'll check my e-mail....
