I like the looks of the new Logitech G29 (even though I don't expect to need the clutch pedal) and I like the price of the new Thrustmaster T150 (but I worry about its reliability). The Thrustmaster T300 seems like an in-between option.

Hmmmm...tough decision....well....its time for a nap, so I guess I will get some rest before I wear myself out thinking about it!;):lol:

But first I may need to drive my WRX to have a baseline comparison:

Evening geezers don't forget tomorrow is Saturday.

The car will be THE LIGHT CAR COMPANY (UK) ROCKET. you can tune up to 600 pp on this one free tyre choice.

Tracks will be picked by track vote on the day so a decent general tune is what you will need.

Room will be open as usual at 13.30 UK, 08.30 EST.

Good morning Geezers some good racing yet again yesterday in the Rocket.

Next weekend we will use the Ford Falcon XR8 2000.

The tracks will be as follows

1 twin ring Motegi East course. 12 laps fuel/tyres very fast. :cheers::cheers:

2 Apricot Hill.:cheers::cheers:

3 Mount Panorama (Bathurst.):cheers::cheers:

Car settings will be full tune

@PapaGnr will have some test rooms open all week for you to test your settings.

I will be online today from about 12.00 UK until about 15.20 UK, then formula 1 calls.

yesterday at high speed ring there was an accident which saw one car trying to catch a ride on another.

There was mayhem again in London yesterday when a "Geezer" gentleman driver taking his driving test, was set upon by that gang of Hooligans.:crazy::crazy::crazy:

He was making his three point turn when the Hooligans banded together in their little Daihatsu midjets and just drove straight into the gentleman one after the other.

The driving instructor said that the Geezer pupil passed his test because he was composed and did not lose his temper under the most extreme circumstances.:bowdown:

The police were in attendance yesterday but kept a low profile, so low they could not be seen. When asked if they had video surveillance footage they replied, they could not find a 5 year old to show them how to turn the video on. :confused::confused::confused:

I, unfortunately was an innocent victim of this incident. I was on my way home from meeting my friends at a pub when I came across this scene. There was smoke everywhere and the smell of burnt rubber made visibility impossible. As the smoke cleared I saw this Geezer in a very large, noisy car. sitting cross ways in the middle of a downtown street. There was very little room to pass on either side of the street, and it seemed as though each time I attempted to pass, he would back up or go forward in order to block my way. He didn't seem to be very composed to me. Quite the contrary, he seemed agitated, unlike the instructor's portrayal. I'll have you know my brand new Daihatsu was seriously damaged and I have a neck injury as a result of his unlawful acts.

I am sorry but I decided not to participate anymore in Mots TT because i don´t want damage my g27 accelarator pedal pressing 100% all the race and I ´ve already the GTsail problema once.:nervous:


I will change my decision because I like very much old cars.I will drive sometimes with my old DFGT:cheers:

I have allready problem with DFGT ( it's 1/2 years old, because I got new from 2 years garantee, which was nice move
from Logitech ) with these low power cars You must keep pedal in engine room to keep magimum attack! I don't want to go
back to the stick. Now I allready smell from wheel and too hot? I should have this wheel till PS4 / GT 7!
Is there any other way to do these races ? Papa I'm not against these races. I have enjoyed races and bit by bit learning to
drive these cars. But for DFGT these are demolition races.

I might take you on the offer one day, I don't race competitively any more, in fact I haven't been on Playstation for months, I'm still behind a steering wheel though, but now on a computer on a much slower simulator. :cheers:

Sorry to hear that @mots.

It seems that we'll have to limit this to 2 faster cars for 2 weeks each.

I've already tested 2 cars that would have been for optional weeks 3 & 4. They are both a lot harder to control, so throttle
won't be to the floor for a full lap.

If you all want, I'll post the fastest on Thursday morning for the last 2 weeks of the TT. Bronze is doable, barely.

If you want Gold, don't use this car. If you do use it, you can still get Gold after the TT closes with a tuned car, but your times will not be recorded in the standings.

I would like to see still like 2 cars but still 1 race for week. Is it possible to do like first week standard , second week
like turbo/different transmision/suspension (but change would't give any possibility for set-ups).

Well i got him and only because i decided to change into third gear before the very sharp corners, found this settled the car while turning and changing down. gave me more control over 1st gear keeping the revs up.
1st corner is at the end of the pit straight and the next one is the corner after the long flat out right hander.
You take third gear then almost immediately second, then first at 50 mph floor the throttle and you should go round at about 47 mph. feather the brakes do not lift off the throttle. get it right and there is bags more time on the track still.

I'll let my car vote stand thank you. On the RB Jr Nitrous is not even available and the BMW Nitrous must be purchased just like any other car in the game I've seen thus far. If someone wants to ban a car I voted for so be it. This is a game for recreation after all.

Sorry Geezers i just checked again and Doc i was wrong i was having a bad day yesterday nitrous has to be installed as you said i was probably using the wrong car for all i know.

On the Red Bull you do have to buy it but you can't, but it still won't let you enter a non tuned event for some reason.
