MOT'S GZR TT STANDINGS - 2/10

First race this week will be 800pp at Monza. 10 laps, a rerun of last week thanks to PSN.

Second race will be Subaru Imprezza gt300 Base Model 08 At stock settings with oil change, race hard tyres, at Deep forest 10 laps.

Third race will be same car fully tuned free tyre choice fuel very fast 10 laps at Spa.

Geezers can you all post the name of the track nearest to where you live which is included in the game.

This is for an idea i have for two weeks time.

Also can you post the car you would like to race on your nominated track, also any race rules you would like ie boost etc.

Stewy - Daytona oval, NASCAR full tune, 25 - 30 laps (TBD). Racing tires your choice, fuel and tire wear set to require at least 3 pit stops.

Well another race session marred by server disconnects & room incompatibility.

I hope PD is aware of this ongoing problem & finally get off their collective butts & do 🤬 something to fix this.

I sure won't hold my breath though.

Here's a far reaching (GRASPING AT STRAWS! if you will) thought,, they (PSN and PD) may do something about these issues since they have 2 NEW games due to hit the market soon,, or so we're told. They should be thinking about tomorrow and whether or not the consumer is going to want those new games - that statement I suppose may be dumb because PD can count on hundreds of thousands buying the game regardless of how poor the online experience may be. We're told that Project Cars as well as a number of other online games are not good either - even those that require a PAY for Service option. We consumers were and are VERY happy PD and PSN provide FREE online play,, but the service they've provided is presently NOT GOOD so maybe they're aware and will fix it to keep us "on tha hook"? I guess all we can do is keep trying even though it does help just a little to gripe about it,, an just enjoy what we have.

Geezers here are your races for next weekend.

Race 1 Daytona oval, Nascar 28 laps, free tyre choice, full tuning allowed.

Fuel will be on very fast so multiple pitstops. 👍👍👍

Race 2 Brands Hatch GP circuit 15 laps, free tyre choice, full tuning allowed. Car is Celica TRD sports m22t231. this will be found under Manufacturer TRD.

Revised (again) - Car: Mazda 787B ('91 but Stealth is OK if that's what you have) max PP 695 700, choice of tires.

Track: Indy road, real grip, dry track, no boost. Laps, tire wear and fuel left to Stewy the steward 15 laps, tires and fuel very fast.

unlimited tuning, detuning and tyres allowed.

Race 1 max 480 pp

Race 2 max 580 pp

Race 3 max 680 pp

You can use any car within the regulations but it must be the same car for all races.

All races are 15 laps.

Have fun finding your car.

Hi Stewy - What about a rolling start for the NASCAR race since the standing start on the bank makes for a nasty start. Drafting should even things out after a lap or two. P.M.

Funny thing happened to me last day of the third race. My best time was done 2-3 days earlier and I wanted to see is it possible to better time. Ok I started and I was 7 seconds of my best and still driving felt ok no mistakes. 1 hour time and also bought new car to see if I can put the blame on the car, but no help best I could do was 1.35 never happened before.. But funny things happen and that's racing, but I enjoy it

This sounds like some evil plan on @Stewyripper's part. I did find a car that fits the criteria, but it's a handful.


Round 4 GZR car for MOTTS GZR TT Challenge is: STIELOW ENGINEERING RED DEVIL at 591 PP, 818 bhp

& 1632 kg. It looks like a '69 Camaro, but it sure doesn't handle like one.

Good luck taming this brute.

Here's my RANT of the day. Thanks to PD's lack of maintaining stable servers , so we can have a fun race session,

they have forced me to take a hiatus from the game I have spent countless fun hours with.

Until such time that they do a proper revamp, I will not waste my dwindling time on this earth trying to stay in a lobby

that keeps getting disconnected from the 🤬 servers.

Take note, I will NOT be participating in the MOTTS GZR TT forthwith, so the job of picking cars is open to whomever

wants it.

It's been a pleasure meeting, knowing & racing with you all.

Geezers another disco day again, when will it end? The answer is now!!!

It has been suggested that we race on a Wednesday or Thursday same time as normal when the rooms should be quieter with the kids at school both sides of the pond.

If you could all let me know if this does work or not work for you, if your still working i will forge a doctors note for you only $10.00 a time.

The note will explain how you have a very contagious disease called Gt-itis and you have to be locked away in a room with your mates from around the world, this is the only known cure.

Hi Papa - I think I can speak for most on this forum in saying we'd prefer you not leave us Geezers to fend for ourselves. To your point about wasting the dwindling days we have left, we're all on the downside of the hill, and I for one try to keep all the acquaintances I have, you being one of them. So, while on hiatus (very short one please) have a couple of beers later today, then consider Stewy's post, and reconsider your post, amending it if needed. Joining the others in hoping your "haitus" Papa is indeed just that, a VERY brief time of rest, to regroup as it were and then rejoin the group when you're ready. Frustration with a situation or situations with we have little to absolutely no control or influence surely plays mean and nasty games with our minds. In utter frustration we sometimes have no recourse but to remove ourselves from the source and allow our CPU (mind) "defrag" and reboot. That said we understand ol bud and look forward to your return - hopefully after only a brief break. Geezers RULE!
