GTP Le Mans Series
This is the Prototype & Group C Championship Series Season 2 !
The Championship will have 4 Races - Each race will last aprox 1 Hour
Race Day - Saturdays
Lobby opens @ 2 pm Est - Qualifying 2:20 - Race starts 2:30 est
Season Race 3/26/11
Time - 2:00 PM Est / 1900 GMT

Any Le Mans Prototype LMP1 or Group C car is allowed to participate (including the Steath R10 or 787B)

Rules:
Clean Drivers Only. Drive Respectfully, no ramming / bashing / or any other non-sense.
Lapped drivers are to hold their racing line & let faster traffic by at the soonest possible point.
If a driver overtakes another using a shortcut or overrun area on the track the driver must immediately give back that track position.
All drivers are to practice proper pit etiquette and use the white lines for pit entry and exit.
All drivers are expected to adhere to GTP's online racing rules.
Online Racings Rules
I will remove any driver from the series who cannot comply with these.
Penalties
For avoidable contact and incidents that i have to review i will have the following penalties. I will use which ever one i feel is fitting for the incident.
- 5 place grid penalty from where you qualify in the next Race.
- 10 place grid penalty from where you qualify in the next Race.
- Mandatory pitstop within the first 3 Laps of the race (i.e. drive through penalty ) in the next Race.
- Loss of a position from race standings
- Adding 1, 2, or 3 mins to your total time @ the end of the race.
- Removed from the Series.
New:: Reporting System - If you would like to report an incident or misconduct you can send me a pm to review the race replay. please also include the race lap & drivers involved.
Qualifying
There will be a 2 lap race before the regular race mainly to see if there are any drivers with lag / connection problems.(Your grid position for the 2 Lap race is determined by lap times from when the lobby is open) Where you finish in the 2 Lap race is where you will start for the long Season Race.
Rolling Start
The first lap in the Race will be a parade / pace lap. The Leader will line up first and everyone else will follow according to their place in single file.
Speed is restricted to 100 kph / 60 Mph . Distance between each car must be 3 car lengths.
The Leader can Go Green when they reach a pre-determined point on main straightaway.

Bonus Points
2 Points for participating in the qualifying two lap race.
3 Points for finishing the race.
There will Be a Drivers Championship & an a Team Championship
Teams can have 2 Drivers and both must drive the same car with the same paint scheme.

Right now i'm only going to allow 4 of the same car in the championship to encourage some diversity. Example: 4 908's or GT-Ones
No switching cars. Drivers must use the same car every week.
I have some tunes for some of the LMP's & Group C's feel free to try them out if you need some help

Please be active in the thread and voice your opinions. If you liked something , didnt like it, or have an idea how to make it better. I will do my best to keep everyone happy.
If you are someone who is not going to finish & quit a race because you are not in first place after the first few laps of the race please dont bother signing up.
Also dont sign up if you are going to bother to show up to race or check the forums
You will be dropped from the series if you are not active at all on the forums or you miss consecutive races without informing anyone. I understand stuff comes up and video games cant always be a priority, all i want is a heads up before the race so i can get a sub in.
