Didn't know I didn't add BK as a friend yet. Dammit, i'll be there shortly.

Not at all happy with Drum. An average qualifying where I got knocked off a few times and felt I could of done a few positions better but I wasnt too bothered at the time since I was looking forwards to a battle with MU and possibly matching my previous result of 6th.

Then turn one of the race, I brake conservatively since everyone was shouting at me telling me I'm too aggressive. I wasn't trying to gain any positions in that corner, just make it round and let the field spread out before concentrating on passing MU and AMF. Then as I begin turning in I suddenly get taken out which it turns out was Drum seemingly failing to brake into the corner at all, sending Mike into the back of me. This dropped me from 7th to 14th instantly.

As the next few laps progressed I moved up to 10th, fighting bombe and BK for 9th. However, a slight error left me unable to catch them since we were all running equal lap times. At most of the circuits on the calender, I need a good qualifying to put me in a good position since I won't make any positions during the race (the only exception being Grand Valley Speedway last season) so having my entire qualfiiying and hopes for the race destroyed on turn 1 really annoyed me. Then the tyres were going off too quickly and the car was oversteering alot and an already bad situation became worse. I would of had to do 3 pit stops and I just couldn't drive quickly knowing how bad the race was so I just retired from it all. I'm staying in the lobby so do I get 2 points for that?

I am expecting a significant penalty to be awarded to Drum for this mindless act it seems.

I just hope we get to go to SSR5 now since the season has hardly been good so far.

Grrrrrrrreeeeeaaaaattttt race... MikeH, Adam, BK, Seth and Peter

However, in the middle of all the good action... there are going to be penalties for Drum (1st turn), Peter (using off-track too many times) and probably a lot of other guys (unfortunately). I'll update standings after dinner.

Thanks for a compliment bombe makes a change lol.... that battle was epic.. shame I underfueled.

Any way the quali race was immense with action left right and centrel. i managed to avoid all of this and get into 5th. Golfer u probably don't thinl i deserve it but oh well LOL
Sorry Peter/ PJ for spinning you :s.
I hit the grass and couldn't do anything.
I will take a penalty i guess but its pretty harsh.

Shame i ran out of fuel as i would have had 7th or 8th which is frustrating.
but **** happens.
Anyway great race bombe and sorry peter.

as you said, you avoided the cars to clench 5th. You drove well. I just got bad luck. What I don't think was deserved by anyone was me getting rammed into turn 1. That was shameful. And remember, Ayrton_Schumacher ran out of fuel. Maybe you are just copying him like for like but without the speed.... or consistency..... or wins..... or attitude

WTF ?? i was in 7th until i ran out of fuel lol its not like i was trudging round in last.. i was consistently in the 1.28s until like 9 laps into each of my stints.
And i dont have bad attitude unless you mean him.
And from what u said ur first race u got lapped twice so my first time wasn't too bad was it.

ohh and its not my fault that drum took you out so don't feel bitter to me :)

Golfer... when will you turn back to the original golfer, instead of the commanding and negative golfer?
--

You weren't alone in turn one. I can name a few others... me, Jam, Drum, Seth, MikeH and more... Idk what you think Adam did, but no one complained about his driving after the race. The only thing he did was resetting the track, delaying the race 15 mins :D But we'll live...
--

Peter: It's not that you're a bad driver at all, but I hpe you will stop driving zig-zag on the long straight next time. Also, you used the off-track a bit much, but it'll need a review first, for sure.
--

Good win Jake... or at least that's what I think, I didn't see you at all the entire race :D
But I'm not surprised you won
--

I still hate the track for this reason: Slipstream.
Lap time difference is approx 1.7 secs when you have slipstream on the long-straight. That's why it kind of developed into a 2-group race; the leaders and the backmarkers. If I had just stayed on BK's tail I would've been part of it, but nooo, I had to make one of my two mistakes just as I was hanging on at the sub-front.

How do u think it would have finished if i didn't run out of fuel?? LOL
and i forgot about reseting the track so sorry people :)

The Audi must be using a lot of fuel, all my Pesty needed was 1 liter extra...

And Adam... of course I would've beaten you ;)

I'm just not very happy about how the race went. And AMF, yes, it is him that has a bad attitude. ANd by consistency, you make alot of mistakes but albeit not in that race.

I have taken the photos of the photoshoot. And alot of them. Personally, I'm not happy with how they have come out and would like to try a different lay out to the way we are all positioned but oh well. I mean I'm not happy with the Indy photo's but you all love them. I'm going to be editing them abit so don't expect them up until tomorrow afternoon at the earliest.

Who are you talking about here?
--

Standings are updated and I have had dinner, so I'm all ready for a relaxing night with the tv and a hurting stomach :)

Anyone can report race incidents in a PM to BK or any steward from the race if you think there's something suspicious going on or you were rammed etc etc... that would make it a lot easier when we are watching the replay.
--

I will definately contribute with some photos from my race, so golfer & Jamman, just watch the front of the race, ok? Then I'll handle the back.

Hes talking about me lol :D

and i will try and get some good pics but not too sure how to upload them.

I love your last line, Drum, because that is exactly how it should be. It's the guy behind that has the ability to avoid accidents, not the other way around :)

Also, thanks for reminding me...
--

MikeH... why did you overtake Seth before the line? I am certain that we do not overtake before the start-finish line, but we go full throttle after turn 1 (after the turn's kerbs today). Maybe I'm just confused now...

Only reason I zig-zaged was to break the slipstream. There's a difference between swerving to break a slipstream, and position defense. If I was swerving with an approaching driver in close proximity, that'd be bad, but a driver far off ,but in my slipstream, I can swerve to break the draft, not illegal.

And about my overuse of the runoff, all just mistakes on my part, didn't intentionally use it to help me, in fact, a lot of the times it didn't help me at all. And everyone must've at least once ran wide.

I know everyone has run off a couple of times at least, I just noticed you did it a lot... again, that's one of the things I'll watch on the replay and then decide how much you gained from it (if at all). Besides, it's very limited how much you can get penalized today, lol :D

Not a bad race from my view considering I missed quali. Turn 1 was a bit of a mess, which you see from Drums video I managed to get through reasonably well. Was with MU for the majority of the race before separating at the second round of pit stops and with consistent 1:27's managed to cath and pass Razor for 2nd with 3 laps to go. But it was still an intense race and one I enjoyed despite it being Fuji. And I guess I got the best MPG gaining 11 positions (). Hopefully no one will beat that again so I can at least take something out of this season lol. Jake is looking too hard to beat as it stands and is driving exceptionally well :)

All your best tracks are still to come. I'm gonna try my best to win this championship.... "rain season" will be huge (Monza/Suzuka/La Sarthe) :)

there is no overtaking until passing start line

Right now, I just want to get back to the track and get to Nurburgring next weekend so I can put today behind me. Anyone seen the news page on GTP? Looking good. And the NASCAR seasonal as well. There should be plenty to keep me occupied and not thinking about today. Just can't wait for my personal favourite race of this season (and every season so far), the street cicurit to be decided

Where are we racing tonight and what time? Hopefully my power doesn't go out and I have to wait for the Jeff Gordon Seasonal

Nah my disconnect has put me clutching at straws from day 1. My aim is just to win a race or two now. If I can catch up you in the process then great but I find it hard to think I can. That job may have to be left to tiss or BK :)

Still, despite not being close in the championship we are on track so I look forward to many battles to come lol :)

Not if special stage is chosen...... but I doubt that will happen due to its lack of overtaking. Although the high tyre wera will mean that there are multiple different pit strategies meaning there will be lots of cars racing with big differences in tyre age meaning great racing. It'll be like current F1

Looks like a bad accident really. Your car picked up the draft well. With those ahead checking up it just compounded the mishap.
