Guys

My new and very improved promotional video is going very well....very very very epic I think. However, I have a request.

Could everyone take their profile picture (picture of your driver,) put it on a USB, then send it to me in a private message? I might end the video with quick shots of all the drivers and their team names/cars.

Thanks

When you guys start posting essays, i stop reading.

Anyway might be a while for my next vid, i think i've reached the limitations of my software, and pinnacle studio blows..

Yes it blows and it takes a bit to learn. However, it's all I have and it can do everything I need it to do.

Instead of getting driver pics I might just do car pics cause it's easier and won't get outdated.

edit: I'm gonna hate "Iron" by the time I'm done this

Funny how your desire to be right and see things only your way caused you to overlook my compliments about your skill and my hope for you to succeed as a champion without petty issues. What was I to expect? But ok.

Just because I didn't reply to it doesn't mean I overlooked it ;) Besides some of it was a contradiction to what you had said. First you questioned my attitude then complemented it :irked:

Kirk used the Matmut - and I know you have the Matmut too as you used it last season. Why not use the Matmut and be on a team?

I don't like using the same car each season. Although I would have a different livery. Wasn't there another guy who wanted to join and be the 908 Matmut?

A 908 is a 908... same car anyway.

But if you won't use the Matmut, well, then there's one team less.

Look it's simple. Kirk can use the total to make the team. He was using it last night so I guess he wouldn't mind about what colour 908 he drives :)

Kirk drove the 908 Total. How can I forget it when he dives up the inside of turn 1 at Indy and because I had the inside, he smashes straight into the red tyre wall :D

Watching the F1 Spa Practice 2, I discovered a few things:
  • Anthony Davidson said something that sums up our regulations in our LMP series at 601bhp:
"Don't change it if it ain't broke"
  • Spa has this cartoony feel watching the practice due to the right red and yellow tyre barriers.
  • Jeff Willis (I think that was his name) who worked with Williams was talking about what you would be able to do with something like the active suspension that Williams used in the early 1990s if you used GPS and todays technology. He was saying you could completely change things like gear ratios, wing settings, engine mappings, suspension settings etc and using GPS to control meaning that the car would be set up for each corner making them amazingly fast :D THE X2010 IS RUBBISH COMPARED TO WHAT WOULD HAPPEN WITH THIS TECH
  • He also said that the possibility of closed cockpit F1 is unlikely but stiff a possibility on the table to try to prevent a tyre from coming into contact with a drivers head.

I look forwards to the race tomorrow and have a few commentary things that I would like to say during the race at certain moments.

Drum, look at the number of posts in the thread!! And if someone post after this, look at what number this post is! :D

golfer... practice in a bit...
and Drum he is talking about the F1 practice... not the game the real thing

We talkin' 'bout practice. Not a game.

If you look at my post, I was talking about practice, not a game. It's just that technology being used to make the ultimate race car is what they were talking about and is also what the X2010 is

EDIT: Just saw your above post. Grrr

Yeah I messed up my braking point in that qualifying race and went into corner way too fast so it was either cause a massive accident and take out about 3 of the cars in leading group already in the corner wrecking their race or hit the tires on the inside to stop me so choose the tires. Then I got discounted in the real race just after first corner after getting a good start.

I did use the Matmut 908 in both pre-season races and am down in the spreadsheet as driving it. However before the first race of the season I switched to the Total 908 and used that at Indy as bombe32 posted that as there were only two people using the 908's it would be better if they both ran the same version so everyone was in teams.

I don't really mind which 908 I drive though as I am just as slow in one as I am in the other (still only getting low 28s at Fuji). Actually prefer the look of the livery on the Total 908.

Yeah I had a run in with a bentley as well in the exact same circumstances at Indy turn 1. Bentley was trying to make a pass and to say that is a "disappearing gap" is an understatement.

generally "dissapearing gap" implies that there was a gap in the first place

EDIT:
Hi Bermuda!!!
Can me and Jamman switch to the Peugeot 905 for the remainder of this season to increase diversity. Also, we will be happy to have our season points reset and even have a time penalty added on at the next race (Fuji)

Bloody 905 is a bullet... been racing these guys tonight, but good ol' peugeot, they always finish 2nd to Audi ;)

EDIT: Audi was better overall (by a million miles actually :P)

Anyway gonna watch this series, looks fun.

Jamman is a rubbish rally driver. He knows nothing of off road racing

This post is an edit to hide something I posted accidently

who on earth is this? I was racing with him online and he just kept taking me out. Clearly knows nothing of LMP cars. The 905 won because we avoided the carnage that this idiot caused by crashing into everyone

Oi, not funny. Cheeky ;)

How can I cause carnage by running last? :P
