Yeah it's weird. Might have something to do with the colour of the helmets, or that there are 2 peskys on the track. There might be 2 different ones, but since I have a red helmet and bombe has a green one that might be it.

Also, is it illegal to go full pelt into the pits and use the barrier as a natural correctioning tool to put you into the pits?

your not allowed to go full throttle into the pits, read my op. excluding Indy where is just a long road.

If you go full throttle most places your car will crash when the A.I. takes over and you will hold up others behind you

Thats very intresting, try some more helmets

In real life, if more than one car is entered for a team, they need clear colour markings to disingiush if keeping the same livery. They will have different numbers but will also have a different color code. Take F1, they have either a red or yellow bar above the drivers head indicating driver one or two. In LMP cars they have the wing mirrors usually or in Audi's case they have the cars painted with large amounts of either red, yellow or black (german flag) on the cars to indicate which of the three it is. With that car, it is a green bar around the air intake hoop for car 1 and a red ringfor car two. All Peskys are similar. Take the C60 Hybride. That has green wing mirrors for car 1 and red for car two. Nothing to do with amount on track or driver helmet

Did some racing with Jake and PJ tonight and eventually Bermuda and Mr Racing Gloves. I should race with you more Drum. You are like me when I started but with gloves. You weren't amazingly quick, could drive the cars and have a headset and willing to talk to everyone.

We raced at Fuji alot where PJ was fastest a tad followed by Jake and Bermuda with PJ and Jake even and me setting my usual lap time of LeadersPace +1 second.

However when I got PJ talking about the possibilities of either R246 or SSR5, we switched to SSR5 and I found something remarkable (no one drove at all at R246), the whole LeadersPace +1second has been switched round and applied to Jake with em as the leaders pace. The best lap Jake did was a low 1.12 which I should of struggled to beat. I did a 1.11.4 to quali for a 5 lap race on pole =D and then in the race I had a okay first lap with Jake hounding me (Jake, on the start finish on the end of lap 1, you just hit me rather than passed so I'm abit confused) but then lap 2 and 3 were both 1.11.2s with lap 4 being a dreadful 1.11.8 (wtf happened on this lap?) and then lap 5 was even worse... a 1.12. In the end I won the race by nearly 8 seconds with Jake in second (I beat Jake, think about that me, golfer199, mister Jamman's rear gunner, beat Jake, Jammans rival, by 8 seconds in a 5 lap race) so at SSR5 I have both consitent high speed pace and consistency to not crash. If we race there, I think the start of the formation lap will mark me being 1 hour away from my first win but I don't want to get my hopes up until I know what Jamman can do (Jamman, I'm not giving you any tips on being fast or set up at that round since you dont care about it) and I know pit stops will be crucial at that circuit since tyre wear is very high I'm certain.
I AM THE MAVERICK OF THE NIGHT (would be nights but I'm not great at Sarthe)

EDIT: Bermuda, rule clarification noted. I will make sure Jamman knows and the others do too since that is a faster way to pit stop. Oh and do we have to follow the entire white lines on entry?

Literally laughed at the gloves part. For clarification, they aren't racing gloves, but infact like these:

Once I am able to push with my car and find a basic setup that works for me I will be quicker. My last few races have been terrible and I'm now working up from the default setup :D Also PJ is pretty cool and seems like a good S4 driver.

I'll be faster once I get my tune right, it's oversteering too much I had it about neutral so I changed a bit and now it wants to be a spinning top. :(

I would very much like to get in on this, been looking for a series like this. I may not be able to make it to every race although I'll do my best, and I'll definitely be there for the next 2 rounds for sure.

I havn't decided on a car just yet, I'll let you know in a day or 2.

Who do i need to add on PSN (ie the host)

Add Bermudakid, also add anyone in the thread that you want, me included, we all practice a bit throughout the week, and everyone is pretty open about it :)

edit: that said: i'm not going to be online as much anymore...... been wasting way too much time :)

I had fun in that race, but for some incidents getting bumped off track. Sorry if I was 'racing' some of you guys, but I was trying to get my lap back so that I came in a decent position at the end of the race while others pitted again. I guess it takes a clean race and being towards the front to pull off a one-stop strategy.

Unactive? O RLY?

Had work to do for the last weeks, so had to put the PS3 away and do it. I can now set that work aside and get back to racing. Goals for this season? Win everything and take the championship :D. But actual goals? Win at least 1 race, and put myself up there on the list as a fast driver and championship threat.

Did some racing tonight with the golfer, BK and jake. I had the edge at Fuji, taking that race win, not so comfortably because of a mistake under braking on lap 5 dried up my lead. When we went to SSR5, it seemed as if things were switched around completely, Golfer was a second faster than everyone else, he called himself the Maverick of the night, well I struggled around SSR5, so call me the golfer of the night

Pesky #17 (green) and Pesky #18 (red).

Yes, Peter, inactive as you didn't attend any of the pre-season races and you hadn't been online for what.. 17 days? But if you show up, you'll be welcome (and active again).

I remember I was in the 1:11's, fastest being a 1:10.9. So I should be somewhere near you :)

What laps is everyone doing at Fuji? Very low 1:28's at the moment for me. I know I saw Jake putting in 1:27's after Indy last week so I have some work to do :)

And apparently pj's doing 26's! :embarrassed:
