Low draft was terrible for me personally. Because the Audi was limited to 690, that and low draft meant I couldn't get near Mav when I was faster than him was stuck behind him. Managed to just get near enough once which counted.

I have Uncharted 3! I decided to buy the special edition and I was very surprised when I opened it. There's a really old tatty book with the game in in like an explorer fashion. It has several pages with pictures from uncharted 1 and 2 and the online pass and special edition code etc. Very creative but to be honest it's hard to store the game in. I'll have to use a Playstation Network redeem card box lol

I need to make some more updates

How did you guys like low draft ......

on Laguna it may be high because before there was a draft to begin with.

Also I feel another video coming
I thought low draft was fine.

Staying close to the cars in front is now about getting a good exit speed into the long straights, not about being within a preset distance for an almost-automatic push to pass effect.

you up for some co-op before I get SKYRIM?

SKYRIM :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

Draft should be low and shouldn't even be discussed. Imo makes racing better. you have to plan a pass and execute it, not just draft on a straight and fly by at 20mph more...

Uncharted 3 = 👎 from me

GTA V baby! :sly:

Pity it ain't out till next year :sly:

Just depends what you prefer though. For me personally I find Uncharted 3 fascinating. Much better than being a yob shooting every guy you see :D

Meanwhile golfer likes to fight dragons and be a wizard on Skyrim :sly:

I thought the Audi had been tested the slowest car in a straight line. Besides, it's more realistic anyway.

It looks exciting and dragons are my favorite creatures.
BUT THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO DISCUSS IT!!

👍
End of discussion.

Wow! So SORRY! My son had gotten into the kitchen while I was racing, my g/f cant take watching him for more than 5 minutes obviously and started fuming! I value this series, but value my PS3 a little more. If I didn't grab my kid she would have likely broken my playstation.

Anyway, as far as the race was concerned, the start was ruined by the person behind me. I'm not sure if it was golfer or amf, but whoever used the GT-ONE behind me rammed my rear end before the start/finish straight causing damage to my suspension and engine and making me smash into Jake! That kinda crap is stupidity and uncalled for. You ruined the start, you ruined the race, and you took yourself out just a few laps later! Save our time and races dude. You came to race right? Just be patient. My tires were shot thanks to you, making me smash into Jake then run off course, ruining my pit sequence.

Noobish move of the race. Also, I thought it was go after the last turn? Maverick looked like he was doing a Vettel job under a safety car. Just my observation.

GT-ONE you say? (Looks around to see if there are other GT-ONE drivers) Nope, no idea who it was.

Seriously, sorry for that but it wasn't really my fault. The field slowed down rather like the last time we raced at Indy, to a halt. So we were all pretty much stopped at the Start line. Then AMF drove past me a little bit before the line as he started to go green so since we hadn't passed the line, I thought that we were all going green then (it is a bit hard to see Mav through the other 9 cars in front of you) which meant that I went green and the guys in front didn't and I must of hit you my accident. But how am I meant to watch Mav, AMF passing me and the guys slightly in front. It was chaos. You should get a penalty if you start a race like Mav did. The race should go green at the last turn. In real life, the cars stay at 60mph and go green when they cross the start line. Going on the pace lap at our 60mph (about 100mph) and then slowing to below 20mph is a joke. Yeas it give you an advantage because you know when you are going to go green and they have to react, meaning they can't fight into turn one but for the 10 or so cars behind you, it causes a pile up because everyone is trying to see the start line and avoid the cars around them. It needs regulating and enforcing.

I couldn't help the fact that me you were having to catch up because of Seth then the group slowed down as we arrived at the back

ermm? I'd try to correct that but it would be too hard. Although it makes sense if you just missed two words:

EDIT: Ahhh he missed the word AND

Yes it was ridiculous and really I think If someone does that we should be allowed to overtake and they should not be allowed past... Same as the mav thing.. we should have a constant 80 - 120 mph speed.

Yes. It should be constant with no deviation from the decided figure. And it doesn't matter if you find it difficult to take the Lowe's hairpin at 120mph, DEAL WITH IT. MAN UP!!

Good things happen to those who wait... ;)

Anyway we all like different things so who cares lol. GTA is about car jacking, humping, going to the gym and generally fooling around. (golfer this will be right up your street)

On topic: The 908 seems like it's going to be a poor car this season. No regrets because the car is a beauty and there are always great midfield battles. :D

What's wrong with having the pole position man at 50-75% race speed on formation lap? As long as overtaking before the finish line isn't allowed, there won't be huge commotion at the start. I've done this in another series and it allows the pole position man to choose when to break away in the final sector, gradually easing you into a race instead of going from a 60 MPH cruise to a full speed in the space of one corner.

A number of racing incidents including those on the pace lap are under race steward review (as soon as I put the coffee on to wake them up from their slumber)

the problem is when they keep about 50% of racing speed and then drop this speed to roughly 20 mph just metres from the start line and then rapidly accelerate away.

And MU, it is right up my street. I have played GTA 4 alot and I love it. Sadly, when it comes to free roam, you need to get yourself a copy of Skyrim. I'm going to sign up to GTP+ just so my tag is Skyrim Man

Yeah, but that's not the way it's supposed to be in the regulations. Going about 50% race speed for the first 3 quarters of a lap and then it's up to the leader when to go is a proven formula, why? Cause Formula 1 use it on safety car restarts.👍

What difference does it make mike... Penalties shouldn't be carried over to the real season...

It had points going for it, therefore it wasn't actually pre-season...

I'm not the kind of guy that likes to steal from other threads, but since no one has cared about it before...

This is how you are supposed to line up: two lines with decent distance between the cars.

If everyone did this we wouldn't have pace lap crashes! I know I've said it before.

MU: The 908 isn't that bad, Drum got 3rd in pre-season race.
