Furi majors in going 4 wide in all possible situations in both games and real life, and then announcing it at the top of his voice.

I thought /= was unequal.. With the forward slash in the equal sign..

!= means "does not equal"

It's primarily used in programming.

An exclamation in front of something can be used to say "not" something.

Example:

Mule's favorite driver is !kyle busch.

I always used =/= myself, but I at least know !=

Ford press release coming tonight.

Over here we use =/=, i think. this is the most intelligent thread i have been involved with :lol:

Just found the != comments and was going to do "chalk != cheese" along with "James = Jakob" (note the lack of a !) ;)

Knelly beat me to saying it's meaning too (some friends of mine from another forum use it a lot)

Actually that is incorrect.
The "=" sign is an assignment operator so what you were saying is "The value of James is set to the same value of Jakob"

It should be "chalk != cheese" along with "James == Jakob"

The "==" means it is a comparison between to items that can return "true" or "false". In that case ("James == Jakob") is returned true, "chalk != cheese" also returned "true".

This is assuming we are still in PHP.

Soooooo..... All this programming code and binary representations of I don't know what aside,

I just logged into GT5 and what comes up in the demo while I'm browsing forums? Nascar! How appropriate since the first thing I intend to do is get one set to spec for this series. Don't know that I've got a ride yet, but I intend to be ready should the call come.
