Yeah, lets not forget that Red Bull basically ran away with the Teams championship here 👍

As for next season, I'm not sure. I do want to run it again, but I think there are things that need to be worked on. I don't think I want to own a SC team for next season, so that eliminates the vast majority of tin foil hats. I want to move to a slightly later start time, as well. But this can all be worked on for the rest of the year.

With lots of people quitting (Tom, Drop, Litchi, Mudd, Trynor, etc) I just doubt there'll be enough people to do another NW. Probably one Sprint Cup with 16 people (Rather than 14).
And Furi's trucks will always be here...
Also I recommend starting SC 2-3 hours earlier if there is no NW.

TOCA is then...

You have plenty of time to run your series between now and January. 👍

Kind of. The current plan (as in everything stays the same next NASCAR season, meaning Cup, NW, and Trucks stay the same) would be to run the first season (this is technically a test season to see if concept works) on Thursday nights at 5 PM Eastern, with the first Daytona race being at a special time (Before the Sprint Cup Shootout preseason race). The season would be 10 races long with half of them being on Road Courses.

You can add me to that list as well. I have absolutely no desire to continue running with this series.

Congrats on the Win Owens.

The accusation that seem to be thrown out has direct relation to myself. I pride myself in being honest. So this kinda of thing is a bit offensive to be tied with.

Not sure what exactly Mule was to have done but I can assure you I do not recall anything he has done that would be seen as advantageous to our team.

Guys if there was cheating going on. I would of quit the team. Granted Eric and I chuckled in practice saying we should take such and such out to help points. Those words were spoke as sarcasm. We both are older men and have established ourselves as clean and honest racers. It's not our style.

If you have a question of something happened. Send me a PM. I answer with up most honesty. Or ask here. I don't mind.

But please don't drag me into something with out even asking me.

Thank you guys for the congrats. Much needed moral boost as I adapt to 2.09.

Just want to state something that is blaringly obvious for me reading the last few pages.. Yes Mule was a team owner and helped atleast in pre season, before I couldn't race due to mic lag, for his team. There were other team owners who undoubtably did the exact same things with their cars, feeding setups, strategy etc too.. So what the hell is your guys problem?

If you guys are being petty over that then why even have team owners to help the rookie NW drivers... Also is he not allowed to be happy for his team/good friends success? :boggled:

Also having run in Mules series since I first joined GTP. (His Lotus 111R RMs at Le Sarthe was my first race on GTP) I can say Mules runs series very well, his sleeping problem for the few races it happened in, due to his work, is new though ;).

P.S Sorry if this is blunt but it's the way I am, I don't mince my words .

@Paul- Team owners were to feed us tunes n strategies. I think everyones problem was his attitude. So if what you say Paul is true about the others, then they weren't doing it right and that's their problem. In the first season of NW I fed Carbon and Smuffy my tunes and strategies, and my team won the Owners Championship. This season with Niop as my owner, he did the same to me when I asked. This is why NW existed, to bring up lower level drivers into SC and teach them tunes n strategies. That is the philosophy of this series. I went the other direction due to work conflicts (picked up a second job).

So back to the arguement or whatever is everyones problem, I think it was Mules attitude. For example, I was leading 20 laps in the finale and someone asked who's leading? And Mule said this with sarcasm as if I'm a retard and chuckling "well its Crazy (me)". That did piss me off, as if he just assumes I'm sub-par, which is crap. I was the only one in the finale who pit once. First stint was 54 laps. I refueled completely and finished the race under a quarter tank. And then with a lap or two to go, Mule left the race to see my fuel I believe. Because he can't admit he was impressed and he was doing some on-site learning. Also, note that he laughed when D4LVY dc'd. That's two examples of biased and poor attitude. And it can't be denied. Sorry, but I call it as I see it and hear it. That's how that went down yesterday at least, I can't list other examples from during the season.

That's the attitude I don't care for. I also did PM him a few times apologizing for our public outrages I started. I was being the better man admiting I was wrong and looking for forgiveness. I hate tension among comrades. And you should all know that. Drivers like Furi, akmuq, matty, carb, owens, grinols, mustard, ganon, knelly, niop, droptop, tom and mudd know my attitude and that I am a pleasant guy to race with. But too many cooks in a kitchen will butt heads as you all have seen between Mule and I. Well Mule never messaged me back or responded to my apologizies. Now I know I'm the bigger man then. It takes a bigger man to ask for forgivenes and apologize than the one who turns his head. It takes balls to do this, and I did. He didn't . I believe this is the kind of thing others read into as well, but with their own particular situation.

But other than that and all aside, I still think Mule was a great host for putting this together and going out of his way for us. And the series was overall fun. And he deserves no bashing. I hope that clears things up for you Paul. Things aren't always quite what they seem to be.

I hope Mule hosts next season and if he doesn't I may do so instead. I actually intended to host this season but Mule jumped on it faster than me. I felt with my experience racing in GTP NASCAR since it was born (2 years ago) and being a Team Owner a few times would have been sufficient on my resume as NW host. Time will tell and I do look forward to next season.

Owens, don't interpret my annoyance as disrespect to your efforts. I've seen you be quick all season and it wasn't an accident that you were up there fighting for the title. It's deserved and bloody well done!
Crazy said it all really, I heard MULE on mic during the race and his sarcastic tone toward Crazy while he was leading the race and we were chasing him down. Wow. I could also hear the mics for about 15s after I black screened so yeah, I heard his glee. I've never heard Bernie Ecclestone laughing on team radio... and he's 90 and incontinent. Not incompetent.

I would have been more heavily involved in NW but could not get time for it, @Ganon and grinols, apologies for no communication before yesterday, but urgent personal matters got in the way.

Yeah, its not an issue of cheating per say but an extreme lack of respect. You cant really cheat without having the regs changed before you enter, or changing your settings (I dont remember the cheating scandal from past pages too well, cant remember which team it was.)

I've won 4 races, and my name never is on the thread like the others. hmm....

My NW profile never gets put up....

When red bull wins the SSRX sprint cup race Mule jumps on and starts complaining about collusion between teams. It happens in real life. But it cant happen in a video game...because it doesn't favor Mule.

Its OK for mule to drive 2nd in his X2010 halfway though the race...because he's the steward & the NW racers are his peasants (after all sprint cup drivers shouldn't push NW drivers).

Busch-wacker Furi here in his #14 decided to push whichever damn driver I wanted at Daytona.

You win by team work. We all form deals and alliances. It's called racing, competition, co-operation.

neljack
Dont mean to bring the thread back up but when will the final table be up? : - )

I find it extremely rude that you feel that you can just bring the thread back whenever you want. Inconsiderate toothbrush.

:sly:

Mustard, your name was in the thread title numerous times Don't even give me that BS. I've not even responding to the rest of your post. **** it. Kiss my ass or leave if you don't like how I run things. But either way stop ******** on the series when it's done. Really? Now you complain about me being on the track with the X2010? After I gave you plenty of time to object.

Since neljack asked nicely with a cherry on top I'll do tables sometime today when I get a chance (probably later tonight). But man, some people do a fantastic job of pissing me off.

PS, Crazy, I took you off my ignore list. Considering adding a couple of people. Tried to stay away from GTP this week but I guess that didn't work.
