@Paul- Team owners were to feed us tunes n strategies. I think everyones problem was his attitude. So if what you say Paul is true about the others, then they weren't doing it right and that's their problem. In the first season of NW I fed Carbon and Smuffy my tunes and strategies, and my team won the Owners Championship. This season with Niop as my owner, he did the same to me when I asked. This is why NW existed, to bring up lower level drivers into SC and teach them tunes n strategies. That is the philosophy of this series. I went the other direction due to work conflicts (picked up a second job).
So back to the arguement or whatever is everyones problem, I think it was Mules attitude. For example, I was leading 20 laps in the finale and someone asked who's leading? And Mule said this with sarcasm as if I'm a retard and chuckling "well its Crazy (me)". That did piss me off, as if he just assumes I'm sub-par, which is crap. I was the only one in the finale who pit once. First stint was 54 laps. I refueled completely and finished the race under a quarter tank. And then with a lap or two to go, Mule left the race to see my fuel I believe. Because he can't admit he was impressed and he was doing some on-site learning. Also, note that he laughed when D4LVY dc'd. That's two examples of biased and poor attitude. And it can't be denied. Sorry, but I call it as I see it and hear it. That's how that went down yesterday at least, I can't list other examples from during the season.
That's the attitude I don't care for. I also did PM him a few times apologizing for our public outrages I started. I was being the better man admiting I was wrong and looking for forgiveness. I hate tension among comrades. And you should all know that. Drivers like Furi, akmuq, matty, carb, owens, grinols, mustard, ganon, knelly, niop, droptop, tom and mudd know my attitude and that I am a pleasant guy to race with. But too many cooks in a kitchen will butt heads as you all have seen between Mule and I. Well Mule never messaged me back or responded to my apologizies. Now I know I'm the bigger man then. It takes a bigger man to ask for forgivenes and apologize than the one who turns his head. It takes balls to do this, and I did. He didn't . I believe this is the kind of thing others read into as well, but with their own particular situation.
But other than that and all aside, I still think Mule was a great host for putting this together and going out of his way for us. And the series was overall fun. And he deserves no bashing. I hope that clears things up for you Paul. Things aren't always quite what they seem to be.
I hope Mule hosts next season and if he doesn't I may do so instead. I actually intended to host this season but Mule jumped on it faster than me. I felt with my experience racing in GTP NASCAR since it was born (2 years ago) and being a Team Owner a few times would have been sufficient on my resume as NW host. Time will tell and I do look forward to next season.
