Nice, out of interest, has every round had someone win the double?

I think Joe did at Daytona
Carb did at Indy
SSRX was shortened
And now I did here.

Goes to show the different skills of each driver.👍

Edit: Aw Nice!!!! HSR next week.:D

Nope, I came second in the Daytona sprint race.

Woo. Great run for me. Slowly becoming more competitive in GTP Leagues. Beginning to understand the car more and adjust accordingly. The Sprint Race was no one's fault. My setup sucked and I was drifting anyway. I'm not the most natural driver as my driving line showed and how I was drifting around every corner. Very satisfying for me to be more competitive and my first official win could be very soon. Sorry I couldn't communicate Furi but I turn off my mic for races to stop any small lag. Woo.

Ok so Furi, the stats you posted in the SC thread are for Trucks S2? Do you have S1 stats? And should I add those to NASCAR career stats (combined NW, SC & maybe soon to be trucks)? This the plan? If so, it'll get done on Monday for sure.

Going to find S1 stats soon.

I just seen the current stats and S2 stats on previous page. Ill get this done! But there are only 5 race weekends? One sprint and feature each week.

You should probably only track the feature results. Think of winning the sprint race as winning the pole for the main race.

Thats an idea.

It was your idea. It's how you scored the sprint races in season one. The winner got a single point, and that was it. The feature race is where all the real fun is, any way. :sly:

I agree. Real life Nascar Trucks obviously doesn't have a Sprint Race so what is its points use if you're trying to make the series as close to its real life counterpart.

I think giving points for the sprint races is ok, especially with such a short schedule. But, for Crazy's stat-tracking purposes, winning the sprint race should be considered winning the pole for the feature.

Winning pole in the sprint race is somewhat impossible because there's no grid option for the non-reverse results of the previous race. Besides, I believe it says in the rules that the feature race is a reverse grid event.

Winning the sprint race was worth only one point in season one, and was credited as a pole position.
We're not saying that the sprint winner now is actually on the pole for the main race, as we know it doesn't work that way.

We're saying that for Crazy_Bassist's stat spreadsheets, he should only count the results of the main races. However, Crazy can credit the winners of the sprint races as winning the pole, so there is at least some recognition of their sprint race win, and it will be consistent from season one to season three.

Pocono has been axed due to the fact i'm not 100% happy. Pocono will receive it's debut in this series replacement however.

Are we gonna race High Speed Ring today, or is today's race cancelled altogether because of Pocono's cancellation?

Ok, so I want to gather S1 & S2 stats to start a spreadsheet to add to the other NASCAR sheets. So, lets go over where this info is and what I should use. I know I have been quite on here but I seen all the deliberations on this topic and no conclusion. My question is, where's the stats? And what should I use? I want a straight and 100% for sure answer. Please and Thank You :)

Season 2 Standings.

S1 standings will be compiled within next week or so.

So do I only tally Feature Races? And leave the Sprint races out?

Count a sprint race win as earning a pole position. 👍 That's how they counted in season 1, and is a good way to track them consistently from season to season.

I managed to win the sprint race, and finished 3rd. So I'm happy with a 2 podiums for debut in the series.
